Outside the window, Regina Marsh, a short-haired woman, held Jeremy’s arm. Their behavior was intimate. She held an ice cream cone, took a few licks, smiled, and offered it to Jeremy. A few minutes later, she boarded the subway, heading to the film set. Charles was doing a cameo, Austin was the male lead, and Natalie was on the crew—a good opportunity for a visit, Skylar thought.

Paul finally had some free time. After sleeping a few hours following his return from a business trip, he was summoned to Apollo Hospital to deal with the aftermath of Jenny's car accident. He slept again after returning home.

Finally dragging himself out of bed, he checked his email. Days abroad with Joe had left his inbox overflowing with unreviewed documents. Now, he methodically began going through them. This was how he earned his living; he was both capable and diligent. The sheer volume of emails, however, was daunting.

Then, one email caught his attention. It wasn't a contract or official document, but a series of photos and videos sent a few days earlier by Louie. He'd almost forgotten; Louie had mentioned taking them and emailed them as requested. The business trip had overwhelmed him, causing him to forget completely.

Today's events—Jenny's accident and the hospital arrangements—heightened his suspicion that she was hiding something. He opened the email and scrolled through the photos, his expression changing dramatically. He was shocked, utterly astonished. He never would have considered this possibility without seeing the videos.

After downloading everything, he poured himself a drink to calm his nerves. He wondered how he would tell Joe, and whether to wait until Monday.

Meanwhile, Jenny awoke in the hospital. Seeing a nurse, she inquired about her situation and remembered the car accident. She'd been riding her motorcycle through a tunnel, seeking emotional release from Edwin's overwhelming pressure. The accident had been unexpected.

The nurse confirmed Joe had been notified, visited her before she awoke, and covered her medical expenses.

"He must have been shocked, worried…he must have feelings for me," Jenny whispered tearfully. "For him, I will persevere. No matter who tries to stop me, I will not yield. I know he will save me." Her heart overflowed with love for Joe.
