Sierra had no idea about the online discussions. She simply watched the Xander family perform their charade with cold indifference before speaking up. “If you really feel guilty, shouldn’t you at least clear my name?”

The others didn’t understand, but the Xander family did. Their facial expressions instantly changed.

Denise had been standing aside, detached from the situation. Ever since Sierra became the center of attention, she felt suffocated but forced herself to persevere, though she didn’t know what she was waiting for. Now, hearing Sierra’s words, she found herself unable to breathe. She nearly collapsed but dug her nails into her palm to remain steady. She had a bad feeling.

“Sierra…” Bradley looked at her with a complicated expression. “Can we talk about this privately?”

With so many people watching, how were they supposed to explain themselves? And with the livestream still running, if this matter were exposed, it wouldn’t just be Denise; the entire Xander family would be doomed. Sierra looked at him indifferently and chuckled. “Why should we talk privately?”

With that, she glanced at the trembling Denise and said coolly, “Now, it’s your turn.”

Denise’s heart skipped a beat. She blurted out, “Sierra, don’t!”

She knew exactly what Sierra was about to say. Rushing to get ahead of her, she snapped, “If you really go through with this, you won’t get away either.”

What good would exposing the truth do for Sierra? She would face consequences as well. Thinking of this, Denise felt a little relieved.

“Sierra, let’s talk!” The Xander family had come to the same realization and hurriedly tried to persuade her. “Sierra, don’t be reckless. Let’s handle this privately. We’ll make sure you get justice.”

“Haha,” Sierra laughed so hard she almost cried. Wiping her eyes, she sneered. “Justice? Do you think I’d still believe that?”

Denise’s eyes were filled with terror! How could this still exist? Hadn’t it been deleted? Why was there still evidence?

The Xander family members’ faces darkened. This was worse than they had imagined. They had thought Sierra would only speak about what had happened back then, in which case they could still find a way out since there was no proof. But now, Sierra had played the video in front of everyone. What were they supposed to do now?

Seeing their horrified expressions, Sierra spoke clearly and deliberately. “If you won’t give me justice, I’ll claim it myself! Denise, I sat in prison for three years for you. How should we settle this? Mr. Franklin, Mr. Xander, and the brothers of the Xander family! How should we settle this?”

The Xander family opened their mouths but had no idea what to say.

“Holy shit! So it was Denise who hit that person, not Sierra? So Denise was the one who should’ve gone to prison?”

Denise couldn’t hear what they were saying. The moment she saw the video, something inside her snapped. Her mind went blank with a single thought: It’s over. The weight of those judgmental stares and whispered words became the final straw that broke her. Her eyes rolled back, and she fainted on the spot.

The scandal was too big to contain. It exploded online, and soon, the authorities intervened, taking Sierra and the Xander family into custody.

Sierra had already anticipated this outcome the moment she played the video. During the interrogation, she calmly recounted the entire incident: how, after the accident, the Xander family had forced her to take the blame, how they had threatened her and tried to manipulate her using her grandmother. She knew she would face consequences too, but she had no regrets. She would take responsibility for what she had done, but she would never again admit to something she hadn’t done. She was fully prepared for what was to come. Even so, when she found herself locked inside the interrogation room, she couldn’t help but feel a little afraid.
