Chapter 458

Adam dragged Celine along, giving her no chance to resist. Stumbling to keep up, she protested, โ€œMr. Alvarez, where are you taking me? Let me go! I donโ€™t want to go with you!โ€

Adam didnโ€™t give her a choice. He pulled her from the apartment, straight to the elevator, and shoved her inside. Perry stood frozen, completely taken aback by Adamโ€™s overbearing actions. โ€œWait, Mr. Alvarez, youโ€”โ€ Before he could finish, Adam had already shut the elevator doors, disappearing with Celine right before Perryโ€™s eyes. Perry was left speechless.

Adam dragged Celine downstairs, his grip firm around her slender wrist as he pulled her toward his luxury car. She struggled hard, trying to break free. โ€œMr. Alvarez, what the hell are you doing? Are you crazy? Where are you taking me? I already told youโ€”Iโ€™m not going anywhere with you!โ€ Ignoring her resistance, Adam yanked open the Rolls-Royceโ€™s passenger door. His cold, piercing gaze locked onto hers as he asked, โ€œCeline, are you hiding something from me?โ€ She froze. โ€œWhat are you talking about?โ€

Adam then looked at her flat stomach. Celine immediately took a step back. She shouted, โ€œWhat are you looking at? Pervert!โ€

Adam asked, โ€œAre you pregnant?โ€

She was shocked. He knew? Did he figure it out? Then, he looked at her face again. โ€œAre you really pregnant? Are you carrying my child?โ€

Celineโ€™s mind exploded with panic. Just when she had decided to keep the baby without its father, he had found out. What would he do now? Would he force her to get rid of the baby? After all, this child carried half of his DNA.

Her mind raced, scrambling for a way out. She couldnโ€™t admit it. Without hesitation, she shook her head. โ€œIโ€™m not pregnant.โ€

Adam looked at her calmly and asked, โ€œAre you sure?โ€

Celine replied, โ€œOf course itโ€™s true, Mr. Alvarez. Weโ€™re over. I would never be pregnant with your child. Iโ€™m leaving.โ€

As she was about to leave, Adam grabbed her wrist. Without giving her a chance to resist, he shoved her into the passenger seat. โ€œYou donโ€™t get to decide whether youโ€™re pregnant or not. Weโ€™re going to the hospital. I want to hear it from the doctor.โ€

Celineโ€™s lashes trembled slightly as she panicked. As Adam slid into the driverโ€™s seat, Celine said, โ€œMr. Alvarez, Iโ€™m really not pregnant. Please, just believe me!โ€

While glancing at her stomach again, Adam laughed coldly. โ€œCeline, if I find out you stole my genes and secretly gave birth to my child, youโ€™re finished.โ€

Celine responded, โ€œMr. Alvarez, I really didnโ€™t!โ€ As she spoke, she sneezed.

The night air was chilly. Adam yanked Celine outside, but she was only wearing a thin nightgown. Celine said, โ€œMr. Alvarez, Iโ€™m freezing. How about this? Iโ€™ll go with you to the hospital tomorrow instead, okay?โ€

Without a word, Adam took off his black suit jacket and tossed it at her. โ€œPut this on.โ€

The jacket landed right on her head, completely covering her face. Celine wasnโ€™t sure if he did it on purpose, but either way, his fresh masculine scent and the lingering warmth from his body instantly surrounded her. She quickly pulled the jacket off her face and shot him an exasperated glare. โ€œMr. Alvarez, donโ€™t flatter yourself. Do you really think Iโ€™d steal your genes?โ€
