In his office, Axel Jordan, chairman of Axel Insurance, was respectfully handing a bank card to a man in his forties. A wide smile radiated across his face. "Don Albertt," he said, "this card contains thirty million dollars. The PIN is your birthday. Consider this your incentive. Please check it."
Don Albertt's face was harsh and haggard, but his predatory eyes were sharp. Anyone present would immediately recognize him: Don Albertt Rhodes.
Don Albertt smiled contentedly. "Axie, acceptable," he said. "You're quite skillful. I'm impressed!"
Axel's tone shifted to one of distress. "Don Albertt, what about the elderly protesters outside?"
Albert responded emphatically, "They're just a handful of old fools. Ignore them. If they don't disperse, I'll have my people teach them a lesson!"
Axel breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Don Albertt!"
Albert chuckled. "Next time, go for the big money. I'll cover you if anything goes wrong."
Overwhelmed with gratitude, Axel bowed deeply. "Don Albertt, thank you! With your encouragement, I'll work even harder. Let's make a fortune together!"
Axel lacked a powerful Aurouss Hill background, but he possessed a cunning mind filled with devious schemes. Aware of his vulnerability in safeguarding the large sum from the financial fraud, he'd enlisted Don Albertt's protection, sharing a portion of the money.
Just as Axel reveled in Don Albertt's support, his employee called frantically, "Sir, we have a problem! A man claiming to be Kevin White demands the money's return, threatening to send you to jail!"
"Damn!"
Axel's face fell. He quickly told Albert, "Don, a man downstairs claims to be from the White family. He's leading the opposition, claiming significant influence in Aurouss Hill and demanding repayment or imprisonment."
Axel deliberately exaggerated the threat to provoke Albert. He leaned forward, pleading, "Don, the White family is influential. I can't defy them if they become involved. Please help me!"
"The White family of Aurouss Hill?" Albert scoffed. "In my eyes, they're insignificant! Even their head bows before me! Their children dare provoke me? They're asking for trouble!" He pocketed the card. "Let's go! I want to see which bastard wants my money!"
