Chapter 79: Ten Times

Sienna paused halfway up the stairs, turning to face Natalie. "Have you really never interfered in someone else's relationship? Never pursued another woman's fiancé? I'm stating facts. How is that humiliating you?" Her tone was as cool and measured as her descent.

Natalie's chest heaved, her finger trembling as she pointed at Sienna, anger choking her words. "You..."

The door swung open, and Warren entered, his presence instantly dominating the room. "What's the delay?" His voice held a note of impatience.

"Warren, this woman is unbearable!" Diana exclaimed, her voice shrill and indignant. She rushed to his side, exaggerating Sienna's words. "She insulted Natalie! You must do something!"

Warren frowned, his eyes narrowing on Sienna. "Why is it always you?" His tone was laced with irritation.

"Always a pleasure, Mr. Mitchell," Sienna replied, a taunting smile playing on her lips. Her defiance was unmistakable.

Natalie's eyes flickered between Warren and Sienna; suspicion crept into her voice. She remembered seeing Sienna in Vivienne's ward—the former investor who'd withdrawn her investment from Mitchell Group.

Warren took Natalie's hand firmly. "Let's look at another store." His tone brooked no argument.

"No!" Diana protested, her voice rising. "Natalie loves this dress; it would look stunning on her! It would be a shame to miss it. Don't you want her to look beautiful as your fiancée?"

"Enough!" Warren snapped, his gaze sharp and his patience wearing thin. His irritation was palpable.

Diana pouted, muttering under her breath, "That dress is perfect for Natalie. I wasn't wrong."

"It's fine," Natalie said softly, squeezing Warren's hand. Her tone was calm, but her eyes lingered wistfully on the dress. "It's just a dress. We can find something else, something better."

Despite her gentle words, the regret in her voice was evident, and Warren felt a pang of guilt. He squeezed her hand reassuringly.

From the staircase, Sienna tilted her head, a mocking smirk on her lips. "How do you manage that flawless act?" Her voice dripped with sarcasm.

Natalie's eyes flashed with bitterness, quickly masked as she leaned on Warren, feigning helplessness. "Warren..." Her voice quivered slightly.

Warren protectively wrapped an arm around her, his gaze fixed on Sienna. "Miss Holt, if you're willing to sell the dress, name your price. I'll pay it." His tone was firm, but laced with a warning.

"It's a shame this dress caught your attention," Sienna said coolly, approaching the workbench. She picked up a pair of scissors, twirling them with deliberate finality.

Natalie gasped, clutching Warren's sleeve, her eyes wide with panic.

"Miss Holt, what are you doing?" Warren moved swiftly, stepping in front of Natalie. "Just tell me what you want—I'll pay any amount!"

Diana scoffed. "You're exploiting our liking for this dress to extort more money. Stop the theatrics and name your price!"

Vivienne, waiting in the office, sensed the tension. She emerged, her heels clicking on the floor. She heard Warren and Diana's voices.

"Miss Holt," Warren continued, his frustration barely contained, "If you agree to sell the dress, I'll match any price you name."

"Ten times," Vivienne's smooth, commanding voice echoed from above.

All eyes snapped to Vivienne as she descended the staircase, her presence both graceful and resolute.

Natalie's face darkened; her nails dug into her palms as she glared at Vivienne. Her hatred threatened to erupt.

Diana, seeing Vivienne, didn't hide her disdain. "Vivienne, why is it always you?" Her tone was sharp and venomous.
