Chapter 832: Where Did You Get These Photos?

With a stern face, Sonya slammed her phone onto the table, displaying images of Roxanne and Jack engaged in what appeared to be a cheerful conversation. "Look at this!"

Lucian examined the photos, initially assuming they were from the recent public outcry. However, closer inspection revealed Roxanne was wearing the same outfit she had worn that morning. Furthermore, Hector was visible nearby.

Irony flickered in Lucian's eyes as he recalled Roxanne's excuse for leaving earlier: attending an event where Old Mr. Damaris would be present. Yet, in these photos, she was solely conversing with Jack, seemingly ignoring Old Mr. Damaris entirely.

Sensing her son's darkening mood, Sonya continued her attack on Roxanne. "People said Roxanne seduced Jack to join the Damaris family project. I didn't want to believe it, butโ€ฆ"

Lucian met his mother's gaze, a dark glint in his own eyes. Sonya scoffed, "She's playing you while being intimate with Jack! Your inexperience makes you vulnerable, but these pictures should wake you up. Stay away from her!"

Lucian remained silent for a long moment. Sonya pressed, "I'm talking to you! What do you see in her? Why is she better than Aubree?"

Lucian finally responded, placing the phone back on the table emotionlessly. "Where did you get these photos?" he asked coldly.

Sonya, believing he'd finally understood, was taken aback by his question. "Why does it matter? They're real! Stay away from Roxanne," she retorted irritably.

Lucian scrutinized the messages, pausing at an unknown number before looking up at his mother. "Do you know who this number belongs to?"

Unprepared for the question, Sonya decided on honesty. "How would I know? Whoever it is, they probably contacted me because Roxanne provoked them!"

Lucian's brow furrowed. She doesn't seem to be lying. But who sent these photos? Who's so invested in Roxanne's life?

Footsteps sounded from upstairs. "Who are you talking to, Mrs. Farwell?"

A worried Aubree appeared at the top of the stairs. Seeing Lucian, she exclaimed, "Lucian? What are you doing here?" Then, grasping Sonya's arm, she asked, "Were you upset with Lucian, Mrs. Farwell?"
