Soon, the trio arrived before Roxanne. In Lucian's arms, Estella gazed at the beautiful woman, a rare expression of joy appearing on her face.

Roxanne wasn't sure how to react to being stared at by the father and daughter. Thankfully, the man with Lucian spoke first, breaking the silence. "Are you the doctor recommended by Dr. Galloway to treat Old Mr. Queen?"

Roxanne adjusted her expression and smiled. "Yes. My name is Roxanne Jarvis."

"Dr. Jarvis," the man extended his hand. "I'm Jonathan Queen. This is my sister, Frieda Queen."

He turned to Lucian. "This is well, we consider him our elder brother. His last name is Farwell."

Roxanne nodded calmly. "Mr. Queen, Ms. Queen, Mr. Farwell."

Lucian's crisp, meaningful chuckle, tinged with mockery, rang out. Roxanne lowered her head, hiding her emotions.

Frieda studied her briefly before furrowing her brow. "You're the one who said you can treat my grandpa's condition, right? You look about as young as us. I doubt you've been working as a doctor long. Are you sure you can do it?" Her attitude mirrored the butler's earlier skepticism.

However, since it came from a family member, Roxanne didn't mind the doubt. Before she could explain, Jonathan apologized. "I'm sorry. My grandpa's condition has become quite serious. We've hired many famous doctors, domestically and internationally, yet none could help. My sister is worried about his sufferingโ€”we've been given false hope too many times, and we've become cautious. I hope you don't mind, Dr. Jarvis."

He glared at Frieda. "Dr. Jarvis is here to treat Grandpa. How can you be so rude? Apologize to her now."

Frieda reluctantly muttered, "I'm sorry."

Roxanne smiled at the apology. "It's fine. You're family; I understand your concerns. However, I assure you I'm capable. I may be young and may not look like a doctor with years of experience, but I've researched many complex diseases abroad. My experience isn't as extensive as doctors with decades in the profession, but I'm confident in my abilities."

She pulled a document from her bag and handed it to Jonathan. "This contains my achievements. Please review it before deciding if I'm qualified to treat Old Mr. Queen."

Jonathan was surprised by her preparedness. He himself hadn't entirely trusted Roxanne, but her confidence convinced him, even before reviewing her credentials. Still, his responsibility and curiosity compelled him to examine the documents.

Before he could touch them, a strong hand snatched the document away.
