Although the streets outside Da Hong Mountain were busy, like those in Yu state city, there were no signs of human life inside. The area seemed open.

The man finally stopped in a valley and, looking at a rock a few hundred meters away, said, “Fei Fei, come out.”

Qi Yulin’s expression calmed. “Fei Fei, if you want to think that way, I can’t help it. Yes, I sent the people who stopped you, but I didn’t order them to kill you. Believe it or not. Fei Fei, if you believe me, take out the Ni Luo Sutra, and we can find a peaceful place to live.”

Unexpectedly, Luo Fei lowered her head, her sword sinking as if touched by Qi Yulin’s proposal.

Luo Fei looked at Qi Yulin and sneered, murmuring, “Sorry I attacked you, Sister Luo Xuan, but I didn’t go all out. I know you and Big Sister suspect I wanted to kill you, but I didn’t…”

Qi Yulin’s face went blank. “I didn’t ambush Luo Xuan’s big martial sister, nor did I get the Ni Luo Sutra. I arranged with Luo Fei to knock out Luo Yin, and I didn’t meet her before she returned to the temple. I contacted Luo Fei to get news about the Ni Luo Sutra.”

Ye Mo wanted to ask more, but Luo Fei’s poison was too potent. Qi Yulin’s eyes returned to normal; shock flashed across his face before he fell dead.

“What a potent poison.” Ye Mo glanced at Qi Yulin, who had turned completely black, and reduced him to ashes with a fireball. A black dot tried to escape but was burned away.
