Chapter 895

Andrew said coolly, โ€œIโ€™m not a patient man, and since you clearly canโ€™t give me a straight answer, then goodbye. The next time you see your dear son, trust me, heโ€™ll be a corpse.โ€

Kennyโ€™s face turned pale as he roared, โ€œWait! I agree! As long as you let Michael go, Iโ€™ll do whatever you want!โ€

Andrew chuckled. โ€œGood. Then itโ€™s a deal. Remember your words.โ€

Andrew hung up, not wanting to waste another second on useless chatter or give Kenny any chance to speak further.

Over in Blumedale, Kenny stared at the disconnected call, his eyes gradually turning bloodshot, burning with a savage fury. โ€œThat naive little bastardโ€ฆ does he really think Iโ€™d bow to his threats?

โ€œHa! Dream on! The moment Michael is rescued, Phantom Eye will tear him to pieces for me! And after that, Iโ€™ll dig up his entire family history, find every single one of his bloodline, and burn them to the ground!โ€

Kennyโ€™s voice dripped with murderous intent as he snarled into the empty room.

Back in West Endโ€™s underground cell, Andrew lifted his foot off Michaelโ€™s head.

Michael gritted his teeth, his eyes filled with pure hatred. โ€œAndrew, your death is coming soon!โ€

Andrew looked down at him with amusement. โ€œDonโ€™t worry. Youโ€™ll die before I do.โ€

Michael sneered. โ€œDo you seriously think you can go up against my father and the Golding family?โ€

Andrew let out a cold laugh. โ€œYouโ€™re mistaken. From the very beginning, I never gave a damn about your father or that so-called Golding family. Iโ€™m screwing with you just because I donโ€™t like you.โ€

Michael nearly choked in rage. His entire body trembled. โ€œYโ€“Youโ€™re a lunatic! A damn lunatic with a death wish!โ€

Andrew ignored him and walked out of the cell, locking the door behind him.

Francesca turned to him and asked, โ€œAndrew, do you really think Kenny will keep his end of the deal? Heโ€™s been waiting for years to take the Rhodes family for himself. If you let Michael go and Kenny goes back on his word, thatโ€™ll be a huge problem.โ€

Andrew smirked, a mocking curve forming on his lips. โ€œRelax. Of course, Kenny will break his promise. In fact, everything he just said was just an actโ€”to stall for time until Phantom Eye arrives in Jayrodale.โ€

Francesca blinked in surprise. โ€œThen why did you even bother negotiating with him?โ€

Andrew shrugged. โ€œBecause Iโ€™m walking him like a dog. He thinks heโ€™s stringing me along, but he has no ideaโ€”I never planned on letting Michael go in the first place.

โ€œThis is a game of deception, Fran. Heโ€™s trying to fool me, and Iโ€™m fooling him. Letโ€™s see who wins in the end.โ€

A sudden chill ran down Francescaโ€™s spine. She pouted and muttered, โ€œAndrew, youโ€™re getting more and more cunningโ€ฆ and honestly, kinda terrifying.โ€

Andrew just chuckled, saying nothing. If anything, he wanted to tell Francescaโ€”he was not becoming more cunning, and that he had always been like this.

Back when he was the prodigious heir of the Lloyds, he had clawed his way out of the hellhole that was Chetvine, surviving against all odds. If he had not been ruthless and cunning, he would have died a hundred times over by now.

Andrew turned to Antonio. โ€œNatasha and Dylan shouldโ€™ve reached the airport by now, right?โ€

Antonio straightened up, his respect evident. โ€œYes, Mr. Lloyd. I just got word that theyโ€™ve arrived and are in position. Now, we just wait for the prey to take the bait.โ€

Andrew nodded, then turned to Francesca with a playful smile. โ€œHow did you know Shiloh would help me fight my enemies?โ€
