Chapter 668
One passerby commented, โThis kind of sleazy joint shouldโve been shut down ages agoโtalk about karma!โ
Someone replied, โExactly! My husband used to come here twice a month, dropping thousands every time. No matter how much I tried to talk sense into him, he wouldnโt stop. But now? Finally, I can relax!โ
Another chimed in, โDamnโฆ I have to say, Iโm going to miss Number 9 and Number 11. Those nights were legendary! The way theyโugh, never mind. Some memories are just too good to forget!โ
A few seasoned veterans stood outside the wreckage of Dream Paradise, sighing nostalgically at the clubโs downfall.
Andrew patted Rodneyโs shoulder and grinned. โRodney, I owe you one.โ
Rodney quickly waved it off. โMr. Lloyd, please, this was nothing. Itโs what I should do.โ
Andrew nodded. โAlright, then take your guys and head back. Itโs over now.โ
Without hesitation, Rodney gathered the Madblade Martial Academy crew and left. Dylan followed soon after, leaving only Natasha behind.
She folded her arms and narrowed her eyes at Andrew. โSo, tell me what the hell were you doing in a place like this? Donโt tell me you actually came to screw around.โ
Andrew scoffed. โGive me some credit. I was just tagging along with Mr. Chapman, thatโs allโstrictly for a massage.โ
Natasha shot him a look of pure disbelief. โOh, please. A place like this? You expect me to believe you just got a massage? Not buying it.โ
Andrew chuckled helplessly. โI swear, thatโs all it was! Whether you believe me or not, I canโt help that.โ
Natashaโs voice dropped to a sultry whisper. โDarling, let me warn youโฆ if youโre gonna waste your time on those filthy skanks, you might as well waste it on me.โ
She let out a soft hum, flashing him a seductive smile before throwing him one last teasing glance and strutting off toward West End.
Marcus, watching the exchange, gave Andrew a thumbs-up. โMr. Lloyd, was that Natasha Vostokoff from West End? That womanโs got every guy in Jayrodale drooling over her. Never thought Iโd see the day she was completely under your spell!โ
Andrew glanced at him. โAnd what exactly do you mean by 'under my spell'?โ
Marcus smirked wickedly. โCome on, man. Both ways, of course. Letโs be realโeven I wouldnโt be able to resist a woman like Natasha. Sheโs dangerous in all the right ways."
Andrew sighed, rubbing his temple. โMr. Chapman, youโve got a daughter, a respectable job, and more money than you could ever need. So tell me why the hell do you still come to places like Dream Paradise?โ
Marcus was unfazed. โWhy wouldnโt I? Mr. Lloyd, you really need to get out more. For starters, yeah, I have a kid โ but I donโt have a wife. And letโs be real, a man has needs. Whatโs the point of making all this money if I canโt enjoy myself?โ
He continued, โBesides, itโs not just meโhalf of Jayrodale's big shots come here. Even the mayor, Michael, and Stephen have all been regulars.โ
Andrew frowned. โEven the mayor? Isnโt he worried about getting caught? Wouldnโt that ruin him?โ
Marcus let out a low chuckle. โMr. Lloyd, sometimes youโre way too naive. When Mr. Thatcher shows up, the whole damn place goes on lockdown. Security is airtightโnobody sees a thing. And even if I happened to run into him inside, weโd both just pretend we never saw each other. Thatโs the unspoken rule.โ
Andrew raised a brow. โWhy? Wouldnโt that be awkward as hell? I mean, imagine running into Michael or someone โ how do you even look each other in the eye after that?โ
Marcus smirked knowingly. โMr. Lloyd, you clearly donโt know the golden rule of these places.โ
Andrew narrowed his eyes. โWhat golden rule?โ
Marcus chuckled and replied, โIn a club like thisโฆ no matter who you are โ friend, rival, enemy, even family โ the moment you step inside, youโre all on the same team.โ
Andrew tilted his head. โWhat team?โ
Marcus grinned. โThe Eastonian team!โ
