Chapter 532

Just as the subordinate finished reporting, he added anxiously, โ€œMr. MacAfee is saying that as long as Andrew is willing to save him, heโ€™s ready to do anythingโ€“even be Andrewโ€™s lapdog!โ€

Michaelโ€™s face turned crimson with rage, and he roared, โ€œWhat did you just say? This useless idiot! Iโ€™m his boss, and Iโ€™m the one he should be loyal toโ€“not that Andrew!โ€

Seething, Michael barked, โ€œLetโ€™s go. I want to see what kind of madness this fool is up to!โ€

With a stormy expression, Michael marched toward Laurenโ€™s office, flanked by his entourage.

Troy was supposed to be his trusted subordinate, the handpicked Pharmaceutical Division head, to replace Marcus. Yet, here he was, groveling at Andrewโ€™s feet like some sniveling dog.

The humiliation was unbearableโ€“this betrayal felt like a slap across Michaelโ€™s face. He could not believe Troy was disrespecting him this way.

As Michael hurried to Laurenโ€™s office, his mind raced, trying to figure out what could have driven Troy to such an extreme. He wondered if Troy had gone mad or if he was under some sort of spell.

Meanwhile, in Laurenโ€™s office.

Troy was on his knees, tears streaming down his face. โ€œMr. Lloyd, Dr. Lloyd, please! Youโ€™re a genius doctor, a godsend! You have to save meโ€“Iโ€™m begging you! I donโ€™t want to lose my manhood!โ€

Andrew sat leisurely on the couch, watching the desperate Troy with mild amusement. โ€œMr. MacAfee, what are you doing? Kneeling like this? Come on, Iโ€™m not worthy of such a gesture.โ€

Troy shook his head vigorously, sobbing. โ€œNo, Dr. Lloyd, you are worthy! Youโ€™re the only one who can save me!โ€

He continued, his voice trembling with fear. โ€œThe doctor saidโ€ฆ said Iโ€™m infected. If I donโ€™t get treated soon, in the best case, Iโ€™ll lose it entirely. Worst caseโ€ฆ my whole body could rot, and Iโ€™d die in agony!โ€

The terror in his voice was palpable. After racing to the hospital earlier, Troy had undergone a thorough examination.

The doctor had confirmed his worst fearsโ€“with a grim look, they told him that he was indeed infected. From that moment on, all the light in Troyโ€™s eyes seemed to dim.

Andrew chuckled softly. โ€œIf the hospital has already diagnosed you, why come to me? Shouldnโ€™t you just stay there for treatment?โ€

Troyโ€™s desperation was evident. โ€œI donโ€™t trust the hospital! I only trust your medical skills, Mr. Lloyd! And the testsโ€ฆThey said itโ€™s not just any infection. My manhood might already be gone for good!โ€

He added, โ€œMr. Lloyd, your skills are legendary! Please, have mercy, save me! Iโ€™ll do anything you ask!โ€

Andrewโ€™s amused expression faded as he picked up his phone and idly played a game, speaking in a detached tone. โ€œI warned you earlier. I told you there was a rotting smell on you. But you didnโ€™t listen. And now? Now you come crying to me? Too late. I only treat people when Iโ€™m in the mood.โ€

Troy, teary-eyed, tried to gauge Andrewโ€™s mood. โ€œI understand your rules, Dr. Lloyd. So, if I may ask, howโ€™s your mood right now?โ€

Andrew smiled faintly. โ€œOh, terrible. So, Iโ€™m sorryโ€“no treatment for you.โ€

Troyโ€™s expression twisted with anger and desperation before finally settling on humiliation. He gritted his teeth and said, โ€œMr. Lloyd, Iโ€™ll apologize. I was wrong beforeโ€“I shouldnโ€™t have offended you. Iโ€™m sorry.โ€

Andrew raised a brow. โ€œIs that all?โ€

Troy hesitated, then added, โ€œIโ€™ll also promise you this: if you help me, Iโ€™ll never interfere with anything concerning Mr. Rhodes or Ms. Rhodes again.โ€

Andrew smirked. โ€œThatโ€™s it? Thatโ€™s all youโ€™ve got? Not enough, Mr. MacAfee. Not even close. Frankly, neither Lauren nor I care about your involvement in their affairs. So, I suggest you get used to the idea of living with yourโ€ฆ rotting problem.โ€

Troyโ€™s face turned red with fury. He roared, โ€œAndrew, are you really going to watch me suffer and do nothing?โ€
