Chapter 496
Andrew looked at Hugh with a cold smirk and said, โIโll give you a choice. Slap yourself ten times, admit youโre a loser, and promise never to show your face in front of me again.โ He added, โDo that, and I might consider letting you walk out of here.โ
Hugh froze for a moment. However, he soon burst into loud laughter. โAre you out of your damn mind? Fiona, did you hear this moron?!โ He howled, โThis idiot actually thinks he can give me a choice. What a joke! Heโs just begging to die.โ
Fiona sneered at Andrew with disdain. โYouโre gonna regret this. In a minute, Hughโs gonna have you crying for mercy on your knees, begging him to stop!โ She scoffed. โAnd your tramp of a girlfriend? Hughโs gonna deal with her too. Next time, learn to steer clear when you meet a big shot like Hugh.โ
Hughโs face darkened as he pointed at Andrew. โGet on your knees right now. Iโm giving you three seconds to decide. If you donโt, Iโll smash your head open!โ
The other diners shook their heads in pity, thinking Andrew was young and too impulsive for his own good.
One whispered, โThat Hugh guyโs a real thug. Iโve heard rumors that heโs even killed people before. That poor guy is seriously out of his league.โ
โHonestly, I feel bad for his girlfriend,โ another murmured. โSheโs gorgeous, but whatโs the point when the guy sheโs with canโt even protect her? Heโs all looks and no backbone.โ
โLetโs just leaveโI canโt watch another second of this. When Hugh gets angry, thereโll surely be violence.โ
The restaurant owner peeked nervously out of the kitchen before ducking back inside with a sigh. He ran a small business and could not afford to meddle, especially against someone as infamous as Hugh. Feeling helpless, he muttered to himself, โSorry, kids, but I canโt stick my neck out for you. Itโs not like I could do anything to stop Hugh anyway.โ
Andrew ignored Hughโs threats and turned to Lauren with a calm smile. โLauren, what do you think we should do with him?โ
Lauren tapped her chin thoughtfully before her eyes lit up. โWell,โ she said with a sly grin, โsince their mouths are so filthy, maybe we should make them taste real filth.โ
Andrew raised an eyebrow. โThis is a restaurant. Thereโs only food here.โ
Lauren smirked and replied, โLetโs go with the grossest thing hereโthe kitchen slop bucket. That stuff smells so bad, I almost threw up last time I caught a whiff.โ
Andrew chuckled. โGreat Idea. Letโs give these two losers a taste of the slop bucket special.โ
Hughโs face turned beet red as he fumed with rage. โYou little punk! Youโre dead! Iโm gonna smash your face in and take your woman!โ
With a wicked grin, Hugh swung his fist toward Andrewโs head. Fiona clapped her hands excitedly and cheered, โYes! Hit him, Hugh! Teach those two losers a lesson!โ
Before Fiona could finish her sentence, Lauren stood up, stepped forward, and slapped Fiona across the face with a loud crack.
Fiona stumbled, clutching her cheek in shock. She screeched, โYou hit me?! You actually hit me?! Iโll kill you!โ
Fiona lunged at Lauren in a fit of rage, but Lauren stayed calm. With two swift, stinging slaps, she sent Fiona sprawling to the floor. The woman landed with a thud, too stunned to get back up.
Meanwhile, Hughโs punch was effortlessly caught mid-swing by Andrew, who smiled coolly. With his free hand, Andrew delivered a hard slap across Hughโs face, the force so strong it echoed through the room. Hugh staggered backward, dazed, and collapsed onto the ground, knocking over plates and silverware in the process.
