Chapter 482

โ€œCooperate, and things will go smoothly. If not, there will be consequences,โ€ Donald warned.

One of the fugitives, with a dark mole at the corner of his mouth, sneered. โ€œAre you trying to scare us, Mr. Warren? The police department has no right to interrogate us.โ€

The bald fugitive with the scorpion tattoo laughed coldly. โ€œIf it werenโ€™t for Dylan and Natasha searching everywhere, you useless cops wouldnโ€™t have caught us!โ€

Donald shouted, โ€œWatch your mouth, you little punk! Want me to crack that skull of yours?โ€

The bald man smirked. โ€œEmpty threats wonโ€™t work on us, Mr. Warren. If youโ€™ve got the guts, do it, donโ€™t just sit there talking.โ€

Donald turned to Andrew furiously and asked, โ€œMr. Lloyd, do you mind if I teach them a lesson? I could use a little warm-up."

โ€œAre you sure thatโ€™s wise in the interrogation room?โ€ Andrew raised an eyebrow.

Donald grinned menacingly. โ€œMr. Lloyd, youโ€™re the only person Iโ€™d ever tiptoe around. But anyone else who sets foot in my territory learns real quick why they call me the Butcher.โ€

After wrapping a belt around his hand, Donald walked behind the four suspects.

โ€œThe law will judge your crimes, but first, Iโ€™ll get some justice for your victims,โ€ he declared before unleashing a series of brutal punches.

His strikes were precisely targeted, causing pain and fear without inflicting permanent damage.

Andrew watched briefly before commenting, โ€œYou must have trained with the military, Mr. Warren.โ€

โ€œHow did you know that, Mr. Lloyd? Have you been investigating me?โ€ Donald asked, removing his bloodied belt.

Andrew scoffed. โ€œWhy would I waste my time investigating you?โ€

Donald smirked sheepishly. โ€œYouโ€™re sharp, though. I did have some specialized military training. But how could you tell?โ€

Andrewโ€™s tone was casual. โ€œBecause Iโ€™ve been in the military myself.โ€

Donaldโ€™s heart skipped a beat, though he tried to laugh it off. โ€œFrom what I know, anyone whoโ€™s served in the military is tough as nails. So, Mr. Lloyd, which unit were you with?โ€

He did not expect an answer. After all, Andrew seemed more like a member of the privileged elite than someone who had endured grueling military life.

However, Andrewโ€™s next words left him stunned. โ€œI spent time with the Eangs, did a stint with the Predators, and had some fun with units like Thunderbolt and the Serpents.โ€

Donaldโ€™s jaw nearly hit the floor. He knew enough about these units to understand their elite reputations. Each name Andrew casually dropped represented near-mythical status, places revered by those in the know.

What Donald was unaware of was that Andrew had not just trained with these unitsโ€“he was actually there to train them. Moreover, he was paid millions for a single day of training.

Meanwhile, the fugitives, now cowed and battered, were finally ready to talk.

Andrew leaned forward. โ€œThe Weller family hired you to kidnap Lucy, didnโ€™t they?โ€

The bald man nodded quickly. โ€œYes, it was the Weller family.โ€

โ€œWas it Harvey who contacted you directly?โ€ Andrew asked.

The bald man shook his head. โ€œNo, it was their butler.โ€

Andrew smirked and turned to Lauren and Marcus. โ€œYou heard that, right? Harveyโ€™s getting smarter.โ€

Laurenโ€™s eyes narrowed, her voice cold. โ€œHeโ€™s learning, alright. If things go south, heโ€™ll throw the butler under the bus to take the fall.โ€

Andrew stood and dusted off his hands. โ€œAlright, thatโ€™s all I needed to know. Now itโ€™s time to set the trap and give the Weller family a real taste of justice.โ€

He paused, his eyes gleaming with a dangerous light. โ€œItโ€™s been too long since we reminded Harvey whoโ€™s in charge. Letโ€™s make sure he wonโ€™t forget it this time.โ€
