Chapter 414

Despite his bruised and swollen face, Ernest felt a wave of relief as his body began recovering. After checking himself thoroughly to confirm he was really okay, he burst into laughter.

โ€œIโ€™m alive! I actually made it!โ€

The bodyguards looked at him in disbelief before turning to Andrew. They could not comprehend how a few kicks could save someoneโ€™s life. Was this guy some kind of miracle worker?

Andrew explained clinically, โ€œMr. Ramseyโ€™s main problem was blocked pressure points causing blood congestion. My kicks cleared those blockages and restored proper circulation, which naturally resolved the issue.โ€

โ€œBut Andrew, why do I feel so weak even though the pain is gone?โ€ Ernest asked, holding his head. โ€œI feel like Iโ€™m about to pass out.โ€

Andrew smiled knowingly. โ€œThatโ€™s normal. Most people would have died from losing that much blood. You survived only because of your strong constitution and all those supplements you take.โ€

Ernestโ€™s face turned pale. โ€œAre you saying my life force is severely depleted?โ€

โ€œNot just depleted,โ€ Andrew corrected him. โ€œYouโ€™re like a candle in the windโ€”one wrong move and your light could go out permanently.โ€

Cold sweat broke out on Ernestโ€™s forehead. โ€œAre you exaggerating?โ€

Andrew gestured casually. โ€œYou donโ€™t believe me? Try moving around a bit and see for yourself.โ€

Ernest attempted to take two steps forward. His legs trembled with weakness, and after those mere steps, he was panting heavily, his tongue hanging out like an exhausted dog.

โ€œWhy? Why am I like this?โ€ Ernest raged, unable to accept his condition. โ€œHow am I different from a frail old man now?โ€

The bodyguards pointed accusingly at Andrew. โ€œMr. Ramsey, this guy must have done something to you. Heโ€™s definitely behind this!โ€

โ€œMr. Ramsey, you should be thanking God that I managed to save your life,โ€ Andrew sighed as Ernest glared at him with bloodshot eyes.

He continued, โ€œInstead of showing gratitude, youโ€™re treating me like an enemy. Maybe I shouldnโ€™t have saved you after all.โ€

Ernest shouted, โ€œI donโ€™t care! You saved me, so youโ€™re responsible for fixing everything! How can I live if I canโ€™t eat, drink, or even touch women?โ€

Andrew nodded matter-of-factly. โ€œYouโ€™re right, Mr. Ramsey. In your current condition, you canโ€™t drink alcohol, overeat, or engage in any strenuous physical activities, especially with women!โ€

Ernest staggered, nearly losing his balance. โ€œWithout these pleasures, whatโ€™s the point of living?โ€

Life without his favorite indulgencesโ€”fine food, expensive liquor, and beautiful womenโ€”seemed worse than death to him.
