Chapter 414
Despite his bruised and swollen face, Ernest felt a wave of relief as his body began recovering. After checking himself thoroughly to confirm he was really okay, he burst into laughter.
โIโm alive! I actually made it!โ
The bodyguards looked at him in disbelief before turning to Andrew. They could not comprehend how a few kicks could save someoneโs life. Was this guy some kind of miracle worker?
Andrew explained clinically, โMr. Ramseyโs main problem was blocked pressure points causing blood congestion. My kicks cleared those blockages and restored proper circulation, which naturally resolved the issue.โ
โBut Andrew, why do I feel so weak even though the pain is gone?โ Ernest asked, holding his head. โI feel like Iโm about to pass out.โ
Andrew smiled knowingly. โThatโs normal. Most people would have died from losing that much blood. You survived only because of your strong constitution and all those supplements you take.โ
Ernestโs face turned pale. โAre you saying my life force is severely depleted?โ
โNot just depleted,โ Andrew corrected him. โYouโre like a candle in the windโone wrong move and your light could go out permanently.โ
Cold sweat broke out on Ernestโs forehead. โAre you exaggerating?โ
Andrew gestured casually. โYou donโt believe me? Try moving around a bit and see for yourself.โ
Ernest attempted to take two steps forward. His legs trembled with weakness, and after those mere steps, he was panting heavily, his tongue hanging out like an exhausted dog.
โWhy? Why am I like this?โ Ernest raged, unable to accept his condition. โHow am I different from a frail old man now?โ
The bodyguards pointed accusingly at Andrew. โMr. Ramsey, this guy must have done something to you. Heโs definitely behind this!โ
โMr. Ramsey, you should be thanking God that I managed to save your life,โ Andrew sighed as Ernest glared at him with bloodshot eyes.
He continued, โInstead of showing gratitude, youโre treating me like an enemy. Maybe I shouldnโt have saved you after all.โ
Ernest shouted, โI donโt care! You saved me, so youโre responsible for fixing everything! How can I live if I canโt eat, drink, or even touch women?โ
Andrew nodded matter-of-factly. โYouโre right, Mr. Ramsey. In your current condition, you canโt drink alcohol, overeat, or engage in any strenuous physical activities, especially with women!โ
Ernest staggered, nearly losing his balance. โWithout these pleasures, whatโs the point of living?โ
Life without his favorite indulgencesโfine food, expensive liquor, and beautiful womenโseemed worse than death to him.
