Chapter 397
Natasha trembled but stood her ground. โAndrew, I know Iโm no match for you, but Iโm not someone to be trifled with either. You at least owe me some compensation.โ
โWhat do you want?โ Andrew asked with an amused smile.
โIโm not greedyโjust give me some of that medicine,โ Natasha said, her eyes lighting up as she held out her hand.
Andrew chuckled and tossed her a small vial. โYou say youโre not greedy, yet you ask for something money canโt buy.โ
Natashaโs face lit up with delight as she examined the vialโs contents. โWell, at least you have some conscience,โ she said, carefully tucking it away.
Her eyes roamed over Andrewโs form as her cheeks flushed. โI have one last request. If you agree, then Iโll be yours forever.โ
โLetโs hear it,โ Andrew said with a laugh, โbut Iโm warning youโnothing excessive!โ
Natasha stepped closer until she was nearly pressed against him and whispered, โAndrew, I want to be your woman. Iโve never submitted to many men, but youโre different. Take me, and both I and the entire West End will be yours.โ
Her allure was uniqueโdifferent from Laurenโs fiery passion, Francescaโs innocent charm, or Christinaโs cool demeanor. She possessed an intense sensuality that could bewitch any man.
Andrew stepped back, shaking his head. โI can give you the medicine, but matters of the heart canโt be forced.โ
โDarling, Iโm offering myself willingly,โ Natasha purred. โAre you really going to turn down whatโs being freely given?โ
โItโs not about that. I have my principles,โ Andrew replied wearily.
Natasha bit her lip and said, โFine, I know your personalityโforce wonโt work. So, I have a different request, and if you agree, Iโll follow you from now on.โ
โJust tell me what it is.โ Andrew sighed in relief, thinking anything would be better than her previous proposition.
Natasha smiled. โItโs simple. You donโt have to accept me now, but someday in the future, you must give me a chance to become your woman.โ
As Andrew was about to refuse, Natashaโs eyes welled up with tears. โDarling, you must think Iโm shameless and desperate, donโt you?โ
โWhy are you crying?โ Andrew asked helplessly.
โDo you think I enjoyed having to charm disgusting men like Ernest?โ Natasha said softly.
She continued, โI may be the leader of West End with exceptional fighting skills, but at my core, Iโm still just a womanโa widow without any man to rely on. Today, you proved yourself honorable by not taking advantage of me.โ
