Chapter 395
Natashaโs bedroom was in complete disarray. She lay on the floor, drenched in sweat with disheveled hair and blood at the corner of her mouth, her face ghostly pale. Her half-open eyes glared at Andrew with intense hatred, while he sat casually on the couch, sipping his tea as if nothing had happened. Unlike Natashaโs battered state, not a single thread on Andrewโs clothing was out of place.
โWait, so you two werenโtโฆ you were actually fighting?โ the bearded enforcer asked in disbelief.
Another West End thug added in shock, โHow is it possible that Madam is injured?โ
To them, Natasha had always been an invincible fighter, yet now she lay helpless on the floor, thoroughly defeated by Andrew.
Conan shot an angry glare at the bearded enforcer and his companion. โWerenโt you just saying how much fun she was having? Stop standing there like idiots and help her up!โ
The two men rushed forward to assist Natasha, but she impatiently pushed them away. โGet out! All of you get out! I donโt deserve to be West Endโs leader if I donโt teach Andrew a lesson today!โ
As a proud woman, having her subordinates witness her defeat by Andrew filled her with unbearable rage and humiliation. Before she could fully push her men away, her legs gave out, and she nearly collapsed again with a pained groan.
โMadam Vostokoff, maybe you should call it quits,โ the bearded enforcer advised gently. โYou can barely stand.โ
Another thug scratched his head, completely baffled. โYeah, what did Mr. Lloyd do to you? Youโre bleeding, you canโt even stay on your feetโฆ I know you like things rough, but isnโt this too much?โ
Natasha slapped him hard across the face. โYou idiot! Canโt you see that Andrew beat me up? Iโm not playing around here!โ She glared at him, fury burning in her eyes. At that moment, she seriously considered getting rid of the fools for good.
Conan turned to Andrew and said coldly, โMr. Lloyd, you owe us an explanation, unless you want us to take matters into our own hands.โ
Andrew took another sip of his tea, his tone calm and dismissive. โI felt Natasha needed to be put in her place, so I taught her a little lesson. Thatโs my explanation. Does that satisfy you, Conan?โ
Conanโs face turned red with fury as he bellowed, โAndrew, youโve gone too far! Do you even realize where you are? This is West End territory and youโve injured Madam Vostokoff. Do you think you can just walk away from this?โ
Andrew smirked, his gaze cold. โI just disciplined Natasha. What, Conan? You donโt seem too happy about it. Do you want to settle this with me yourself?โ
Conan clenched his fists, his rage boiling over. โFine! If itโs a fight you want, then itโs a fight youโll get! Iโve spent my life in the underground world, and Iโve never backed down from anyone!โ
Before Conan could take a step forward, Natashaโs voice cut through the air like a blade, โConan, stand down. Youโre no match for him.โ
Conan hesitated, his anger still simmering. โBut he attacked you in your own room! How can we let this go?โ
