Chapter 326

Francesca voiced her concern. โ€œAndrew, you know nothing about antiques, let alone artifact authentication. Perhaps we should leaveโ€”this is Jayrodale, and even though we're dealing with Orion and Aspen, what's the worst that could happen?โ€

Andrew raised an eyebrow. โ€œWho told you I donโ€™t know about antiques?โ€

He took the bronze statue from Cedric, weighed it carefully, and turned to Orion. โ€œSince youโ€™re letting me go first, I wonโ€™t hold back. Now, authenticate this piece.โ€

Orion was stunned, then burst into laughter. โ€œYou fool! This is a fake, and you dare test me with it? This is a replica of the famous piece from the Hall of Faith. The original was destroyed during the early 20th-century civil wars.โ€

Several antique experts in the room nodded in agreement. โ€œCorrect. This statue is a replica. The original was destroyed long ago. Young man, you shouldnโ€™t waste this opportunity.โ€

Aspen sneered. โ€œAnd I thought you had skills. This is all youโ€™ve got?โ€

Orion scoffed. โ€œBoy, Iโ€™ve authenticated your worthless piece. Now examine my collection.โ€

Andrew smiled and shook his head. โ€œI expected more expertise.โ€

Orionโ€™s face reddened. โ€œWhat? Are you trying to back out?โ€

Andrew spoke coldly. โ€œAntique authentication is about separating truth from fiction. Everyone sees this is a replica; your assessment is no different. Your so-called authentication is worthless.โ€

Orion argued, โ€œStop beating around the bush. Am I right or wrong? The Radiant Groupโ€™s expert panel will prove my word is gospel.โ€

Elsie whispered, โ€œMr. Lloyd, this bronze statue is indeed a replica.โ€

Many wore mocking smiles, believing Andrew a sore loser.

Suddenly, Andrew smashed the bronze statue on the ground.

Cedric stammered, โ€œMy million dollars!โ€

Aspen shook his head. โ€œSelf-destructiveโ€”thatโ€™s all you are.โ€

Orion crossed his arms and laughed. โ€œWhatโ€™s wrong, young man? Throwing a tantrum?โ€

Ignoring the whispers, Andrew searched through the fragments until he found a small black pearl. He remained nonchalant. โ€œI told you youโ€™re a fraud, Mr. Kelce, but you wouldnโ€™t believe me. This is real authentication. See this?โ€

Orionโ€™s expression darkened. โ€œSo what if thereโ€™s a pearl inside? That only means I didnโ€™t authenticate it completely. You canโ€™t say my assessment was nonsense.โ€

Andrew shook his head. โ€œAuthentication requires thorough investigation. You were blind to see this as an ordinary statue, calling it trash. But you failed to recognize this priceless pearl. It proves youโ€™re nothing but hot air!โ€

At the mention of the priceless pearl, many were visibly shocked.
