Chapter 2164

Andrew said, โ€œWell then, Mr. and Mrs. Garcia, letโ€™s go out to eat! Since this is my first visit to your home, I should really treat everyone.โ€

Patrick quickly protested. โ€œAndy, what are you saying?! This is your first time here, and as your hosts, we should be the ones treating you!โ€

Sofia chimed in agreement. โ€œExactly, Andy! You donโ€™t need to be so polite with us! Patrick and I are completely satisfied with you. So this first meal should definitely be our treat.โ€

Andrew shrugged casually. โ€œWhether you treat or I treat, itโ€™s all the same, really. Iโ€™m just thinking you might not be able to get reservations at the good restaurants. So I should probably handle it instead!โ€

Those words were pretty much a direct slap in the face.

Even so, Patrick could only respond with awkward laughter, nothing else.

However, Sofia could not stop grinning. Her future son-in-law spoke with such dominance, and she loved it. He might be bold, but at least he had the power to back it up.

Chantelle gave Andrew a strange look. She thought he was being a bit too harsh. She hadn't asked him to go this far.

Yet, Andrew acted as if he had not seen her warning glance and continued doing whatever he pleased.

After all, he had the clout now, and sometimes it was necessary to flash a little edge. Otherwise, a sharp-tongued woman like Sofia would never stop nitpicking, and Carlos the poser needed to be crushed flat.

Andrew had no reason to hold back.

Soon, the whole family got in their cars and headed straight to Terror Townโ€™s finest sky restaurant. Sofia exclaimed excitedly, โ€œOh my, even though weโ€™re Terror Town locals, weโ€™ve never been to this place before!"

Patrick had enjoyed some success before his retirement. He smiled and said, โ€œIโ€™ve actually been inside once, but only to the lower floors. The most luxurious and talked-about part of this sky restaurant is definitely the 100th floor.โ€

Carlos picked up the conversation. โ€œDadโ€™s right. The most famous part of this place is the Sky Garden at the very top! It was named after the Sky Garden of ancient Ismeria, carrying such a beautiful meaning. They say when you dine up there, you can see a sky full of stars.โ€

He shook his head regretfully. โ€œBut just like Dad, even though Iโ€™ve been inside, it was only the lower floors.

Cassandra turned to him. โ€œHoney, is the Sky Garden on the 100th floor really that expensive? Canโ€™t we splurge once and dine in?โ€

Carlos shook his head. โ€œThe Sky Garden isnโ€™t something you can access just by spending money. If money alone could get you up there, it wouldnโ€™t be so desirable. There are plenty of wealthy people willing to throw around cash.โ€

Chantelle snorted disdainfully. โ€œItโ€™s just boring marketing hype anyway! Whatโ€™s the big deal about the Sky Garden? Honey, letโ€™s just eat downstairs.โ€

Andrew chuckled. โ€œIโ€™m fine either way. Itโ€™s really up to Mr. and Mrs. Garcia.โ€

Patrick put on a serious face. โ€œThen weโ€™ll eat downstairs. Weโ€™re respectable people, not the type to chase after flashy nonsense.โ€

Sofia looked a little disappointed. โ€œAlright then, weโ€™ll eat downstairs. After all, we couldnโ€™t get into the top anyway!โ€

Andrew did not say anything, but he walked ahead into the most high-end restaurant in Terror Town.

โ€œDo you have a reservation?โ€ Jasmine Curtis, the hostess at the entrance, asked with a professional smile.

Andrew shook his head. โ€œNo reservation.โ€

Jasmine looked troubled. โ€œNo reservation? Thatโ€™s going to be a problem. Our main dining room is completely booked tonight.โ€

Cassandra looked annoyed. โ€œCompletely booked? Can this restaurant really be that full?โ€

Jasmine smiled apologetically. โ€œYou might not know it, but our restaurant takes reservations every single day. Tonightโ€™s guests made their reservations a month ago!โ€

Sofia gasped in awe. โ€œNo wonder itโ€™s the best restaurant in Terror Town, the business is amazing! Should we maybe try another place?โ€

Chantelle looked at Andrew. โ€œHoney, should we switch to another restaurant?โ€

Andrew waved his hand with a grin. โ€œNo need. He said the lower levels are full, not the Sky Garden upstairs. Perfect! Weโ€™ll dine at the very top. Thatโ€™s settled.โ€

Jasmine smiled wryly. โ€œSir, while the top floor isnโ€™t occupied, you definitely canโ€™t go up there! That area requires not only reservations but also identity verification.โ€

Andrew laughed. โ€œNo problem. Letโ€™s follow your restaurantโ€™s rules then.โ€

Jasmine politely declined. โ€œSir, if we follow our rules, youโ€™d be even less likely to dine up there.โ€
