Listen to this chapter:

Freya frowned. โ€œHannah, what are you even wearing? Where do you think youโ€™re going dressed like that? Dad already told you that he hates it when you dress so flashy. Go home and change.โ€

Hannah spun her fingers, flashing her sparkling ring and showing off every inch of her meticulously styled outfit. She said, โ€œHow do I look, Freya? This outfit is perfect for a date, right?โ€

She completely ignored Freyaโ€™s warning, brushing it off without a second thought.

โ€œA date? Hannah, who are you going on a date with?โ€ Freya sensed something was off about the whole situation. Hannah gave a coy, exaggerated laugh. โ€œIโ€™m not telling. Thatโ€™s all youโ€™re getting! Bye now!โ€

She strutted two steps out. Then, she suddenly turned back and looked at Andrew with a smug little smirk. โ€œAndrew, remember how Dad and Logan used to talk about marrying one of us Keller sisters off to you? Too bad you didnโ€™t know how to appreciate the opportunity.โ€

She continued, โ€œWell, now Iโ€™ve got a boyfriend. Heโ€™s better than you in every way. I hope you donโ€™t get too jealous. Bye!โ€

She bounced off, practically humming with joy.

Aspen folded her arms, clearly irritated. โ€œFreya, I donโ€™t mean to be rude, but what Hannah said just now was pretty out of line. If sheโ€™s got a boyfriend, fine. But dragging Mr. Lloyd into it just to throw shade? Thatโ€™s unnecessary.โ€

Whenever someone disrespected Andrew, Aspen took it personally.

Freya looked apologetic. โ€œAspen, Andrewโ€ฆ please donโ€™t take her seriously. Of the three of us, Hannahโ€™s the most impulsive and naive. But honestly, she just talks big. She doesnโ€™t really mean any harm.โ€

Andrew shrugged. โ€œDonโ€™t worry. Iโ€™m not losing sleep over it. But you really should keep an eye on her. Calling her naive is putting it nicely. Sheโ€™s borderline reckless. If someone takes advantage of her, sheโ€™ll be crying with no one to blame but herself.โ€

Freya let out a bitter smile. โ€œThatโ€™s what Iโ€™m worried about. Losing a little money is nothing. But the Keller familyโ€™s reputation? Thatโ€™s another story. Donโ€™t worry. Iโ€™ll call her later and get the full story.โ€

Andrew turned to Aspen. โ€œLetโ€™s go.โ€

Then, they headed downstairs toward the red Ferrari parked at the curb.

Aspen let out a soft snort. โ€œMy gut tells me somethingโ€™s off. Hannahโ€™s definitely being targeted.โ€

Andrew replied calmly, โ€œThatโ€™s her problem, not ours. If it werenโ€™t for Logan and Mr. Keller Senior, I wouldnโ€™t bother.โ€

Aspen pouted. โ€œWell, I donโ€™t like her. Anyone who targets my man gets on my bad side.โ€

Andrew was about to respond when his expression suddenly shifted. โ€œGet down!โ€

He lunged forward and pulled Aspen down, shielding her as they dropped. Suddenly, a deafening explosion erupted, and a massive fireball shot up into the sky.

Car alarms blared up and down the street as a chain reaction set them all off.

Aspen looked up, her body trembling. โ€œOur car exploded?โ€

The burning wreck was unmistakable, and her bright red Ferrari had gone up in flames. Andrew grabbed her hand and spoke firmly. โ€œForget the car. Itโ€™s not safe here. Letโ€™s go!โ€ Without another word, they vanished down the street.

Just around the corner, a sleek black Rolls-Royce rumbled to life. The tinted window slowly rose, hiding the womanโ€™s face inside.

However, a single detail remained visible โ€“ a large black mole at the corner of her mouth.

She scoffed. โ€œWhat a shame they didnโ€™t die. That wouldโ€™ve been ideal. Then again, thereโ€™ll be other chances. Anyone who crosses the Driscoll family doesnโ€™t get to live long.โ€

Her voice was chilling and filled with venom.
