The next second, Leslie flushed with a mix of shame and rage as she realized Andrew had just played her like a fool. She stomped furiously, shouting, โ€œOpen the damn door or Iโ€™ll break it down myself!โ€

Right then, the door swung open, and Andrew appeared. He asked, โ€œWhat brings you two here?โ€

Andrew rubbed his ear. โ€œAh, my bad. I thought it was a dog barking outside. Didnโ€™t expect it to be you.โ€

Leslieโ€™s face twisted in fury. โ€œDid you just call me a dog?โ€

Andrew shrugged. โ€œI didnโ€™t call you anything. Youโ€™re the one who said it. It has nothing to do with me.โ€

Leslie clenched her jaw, about to explode.

Just then, Lunaโ€™s icy voice cut through. โ€œThatโ€™s enough.โ€ She glanced at Andrew, still as cold as ever. โ€œDid you find that funny?โ€

Andrew shrugged. โ€œKind of. So, Ms. Phelan, what brings you to my doorstep?โ€

Luna let out a faint scoff. โ€œTwo things. First, like last time, I want you to teach me alchemy. Second, I want to wipe the slate clean between us. From now on, youโ€™re with me, and youโ€™ll have free rein in all of Blumedale. Thatโ€™s a generous offer, wouldnโ€™t you say?โ€

Andrew shook his head. โ€œNot generous enough.โ€

Luna froze, then gave a cold, mocking laugh. โ€œWhat else do you want? Greedy much? Even if I wanted to give you more, I doubt you could handle it.โ€

Andrew grinned. โ€œDonโ€™t worry. If youโ€™re willing to give, I can handle all of it.โ€

Lunaโ€™s expression turned to visible disgust. โ€œThen what the hell do you want?โ€

Andrew did not hesitate and replied, โ€œGet on your knees and say you were wrong. Do that, and Iโ€™ll teach you alchemy.โ€

Luna stood there, stunned. It felt almost as if her ears had betrayed her. However, Leslie looked completely flabbergasted. She pointed at Andrew and exclaimed, โ€œAre you insane? What kind of lunatic are you?โ€

Make Luna kneel? In Leslieโ€™s entire life, she had seen countless people worship, flatter, and grovel before Luna. Never had she heard someone dare say something this suicidal.

โ€œSay that again!โ€ Luna demanded.

An invisible pressure began to fill the air. Her pupils narrowed ever so slightly as she locked eyes with Andrew.

Andrewโ€™s gaze was just as sharp, matching her intensity without the slightest retreat.

He repeated, โ€œI said get on your knees and admit you were wrong, and Iโ€™ll consider teaching you alchemy. Did you hear me clearly this time?โ€

No one dared speak. The heavy pressure kept building, spreading like a storm cloud.

Leslie had gone pale, drenched in sweat. She knew this atmosphere too well, and it was a sign that Luna was about to make a move. She shouted in panic, โ€œAndrew, apologize now! Otherwise, youโ€™re dead meat!โ€

Andrew turned his glare on her. โ€œShut your mouth, or Iโ€™ll be happy to smash it for you.โ€

Leslie nearly lost it. She could not believe how unhinged and unreasonable Andrew was being.

Then, without any warning, something shot from Lunaโ€™s hand. It whizzed past Andrewโ€™s face and slammed into a tree beside the mansion with a brutal thud.

Luna hissed, โ€œFrom this moment on, the Phelan family owes Maryn nothing. Andrew, youโ€™re on your own.โ€

Her icy voice still echoed in the air as the military vehicle rolled away, carrying Luna and Leslie with it.

Andrew stood silently in place, his expression unreadable.

Soon, an Audi A6 pulled up slowly and stopped in front of him.

It was Chantelle, paying another unexpected visit.

Her expression was complicated as she stepped out. โ€œYou really shouldnโ€™t have provoked Ms. Phelan like that.โ€
