Chapter 95: You’re Wearing a Fake
Levi’s expression hardened as he reached for his phone. Elsa quickly pulled her friend back. Feigning innocence, she said, “You’re the one who did something wrong and won’t admit it, Jane. How can you let this man threaten us? We only bumped into you on your date. Is there something wrong with that?”
I narrowed my eyes and sneered. “If that’s the case, I can publicize the video of you and Jeremiah cheating. Go ahead and post that photo. Let online users judge.”
Elsa’s face paled, but she refused to back down. Biting her lip, she said, “I know you hate me, but you can’t falsely accuse Jeremiah and me. We’re innocent. You, however, are cozying up to Mr. Flint while meeting another man. Isn’t it tiring juggling three men? Is love just a pastime to you?”
Tired of Elsa’s hypocrisy, I said, “How is this your business? When you and Jeremiah betrayed me, where was this talk of love? I don’t want to waste my breath, but if you continue, I’ll show everyone who you really are. You remember what I warned you about, right?”
Elsa flinched. One of her friends stepped forward defensively. “You’ve gone too far, Jane! Elsa was only thinking of your best interests and the Brown family’s reputation. You’ve accused Elsa and insulted her. You’re not worthy of being her sister!”
I sneered inwardly. I didn’t need a sister like her either. Rolling my eyes, I smirked, taking in Elsa’s outfit. “Appearances can be deceiving, especially when one is wearing fakes.”
Elsa and her friends stiffened, their faces flushed.
“You need evidence! How dare you accuse Elsa of wearing fakes!”
“Elsa’s clothes are from Eirlys’ exclusive collection—only ten pieces globally!”
“Exactly! You’re a country bumpkin who thinks she’s something because she knows a bit about fashion design! You’ll never wear something this beautiful. You’re just green with envy!”
I raised a brow. Levi laughed. “You seem to be a big fan of this designer. You don’t realize all her designs have a special logo. It’s clear yours is a fake because it doesn’t have one, yet you’re acting smug.”
Elsa and her friends’ faces paled. They frantically searched for the logo, finding none.
Elsa nervously bit her lip. “Who said all Eirlys’ designs have unique logos? I’m wearing a custom piece, so there’s no logo. You’re just making things up.”
Her friends jumped to her defense. “You’re only saying that because you can’t afford an authentic piece! That’s why you’re going after Elsa!”
