Chapter 381: She Gets a Free Ride Again

Brody tried to make his presence felt, but Olivia simply responded, "It's too unsafe for someone as young as you to be in the entertainment industry alone! Aren't your family worried?" He probed Olivia about her family situation.

Olivia replied, "I have a car and a house, and my parents are deceased."

Brody slammed on the brakes, startled by Olivia's words. "I'm sorry, I didn't know..."

Olivia chuckled, "I'm just kidding."

Brody was speechless. That joke wasn't funny at all. "Do you have business on Dino Street?" he asked.

Olivia, leaning her chin on her hand, gazed out the car window. "Yeah, to fight."

Brody and Paul were both stunned. "Fight... fight? What happened? Did someone bully you?" Paul immediately sided with her, unconcerned that Olivia might have been the aggressor. "Tell me who it is; I'll help you beat them up!" Paul rolled up his sleeves as he spoke.

Although Brody wasn't as volatile as Paul, he nevertheless accelerated the car, his eyes narrowing slightly, a dangerous glint flashing through them. "Fighting is too rough for a girl like you; let us men handle this kind of thing."

Olivia blinked. "Doesn't Borealia Military Academy forbid you from fighting outside?"

Paul, bearing the title of "sparring partner" from Borealia Military Academy, confessed, "To be honest, I was actually expelled from the military school for fighting..."

Olivia paused for a moment, remembering Paul looking for Felix earlier that day. "So, were you going to Felix today to ask him to find you a job?"

Paul was just about to say no when Brody quickly covered his mouth. "Yes! He was looking for a job. Truth be told, we both are unemployed right now. He heard Felix was doing extras, so he went to Felix today hoping to try his luck and see if he could also get in to earn a meal."

Paul was stunned; his heart fluttered at the lie they were telling, one he couldn't even figure out. It didn't seem like something orchestrated by someone without a job.

Brody added, "Actually, I'm a driver; this is my boss's car. I used to like taking his car out for rideshare driving, and he found out, so he told me to get lost after today. Both of us are strong and healthy, and we're pretty good-looking. Take a look... does your crew need more people?"

Olivia was speechless. So that's why they were so eager today? They wanted a spot to earn their keep. The twin hunks would probably pull in a good audience if they were on screen.

Olivia said, "The extras on the set don't make much, just enough to cover food."

"Just to cover food! Honestly, we haven't eaten in three days..." Brody's bluffing skill was at its peak.

Olivia said, "Then come over tomorrow to report for duty." The meals were sponsored by Red Jackals.

Olivia pondered. She was getting a free ride again! Brody wanted to ask something else, but the car had already unknowingly arrived on Dino Street.

Seeing the familiar street, Paul looked confused. "Isn't this the district where Liliana's company is located?" As Paul puzzled over this, Olivia suddenly pointed towards the Starlit Entertainment building. "Stop here!"
