Chapter 218
Come and claim to… Don’t forget to check in daily for great rewards!
Later That Day.
About two hours later, after finishing their meal, they left the restaurant. Just as they left, Freya and Nolan’s group also departed.
Back home, Freya began studying the materials Nolan had given her. The materials covered the latest plans in AI research across various countries—meaning the contents were still in the conceptual stage and were not necessarily going to lead to a finished product. Freya studied the materials for quite a while. She didn’t even notice when the sky outside began to brighten.
It wasn’t until the sun had risen high that her aunt, Helen, knocked gently on her door. “Mag, it’s time for breakfast.”
Freya responded, “Okay, I’ll come down in a bit.” She brushed her teeth, took a shower, and then called Johnny.
Johnny, rubbing his sore temples and barely able to keep his eyes open, answered, “I knew you hadn’t slept yet!”
“I’m about to go downstairs for breakfast. How about we chat afterward?”
Johnny, feeling exhausted but excited, straightened up in his chair and replied enthusiastically, “Yes, we must chat!”
Ideas come and go in a flash. Of course, they had to strike while the iron was hot.
“Alright.”
After breakfast, as Freya was about to video call Johnny, Paul called her.
“I just received a call from Matteo’s lawyer. The property certificates for the three villas Matteo had transferred to you have been finalized. I’ll come by later to pick them up. When will you be free to collect them? If you don’t have time, I can bring them to you later.”
Freya almost forgot about it. Her mind wasn’t focused on this matter at the moment. Hearing Paul’s words, she replied, “Then please, Lawyer Blake, make the trip for me.”
After hanging up, she and Johnny quickly got back to work. They worked intensely until noon, their minds overwhelmed, before finally taking a short break.
Freya had last visited Old Lady Miller the previous Sunday. She and Old Lady Miller had originally planned to visit again in the afternoon, but since Freya had been busy all night and hadn’t slept yet, she suggested pushing the visit to the evening. When she mentioned this at lunch, Old Lady Miller noticed how exhausted she looked and said, “Alright, we’ll go after dinner then.”
Freya took a nap and didn’t wake up until almost six in the evening. After dinner, she and Old Lady Miller went to the hospital.
When they arrived, Matteo wasn’t there. Freya and Old Lady Miller stayed with Old Lady Miller for nearly two hours. They were about to leave when Matteo finally returned.
Seeing them, Matteo wasn’t surprised, as if he knew they would be coming. As they were preparing to leave, he courteously said, “Thank you both for coming to see Grandma.”
Neither Freya nor Old Lady Miller responded. Matteo helped them press the elevator button and asked Freya, “Did you receive the property certificates?”
“Not yet.”
Freya and Old Lady Miller entered the elevator, telling Matteo, who was about to enter with them, “No need to send us. You go back.”
Matteo paused but didn’t insist. As for why she hadn’t received the property certificates yet, he didn’t ask further. It seemed that he had only asked to make small talk.
Once the elevator doors closed, Old Lady Miller asked, “What property certificates?”
“We’re divorced, and he gave me a portion of the properties.”
Old Lady Miller replied, “If he gave them to you, then keep them.”
“Mm, I know.”
When they arrived home, Paul was already there. He didn’t disturb them much and left soon after. Freya took the property certificates to her room, casually put them in a drawer, and went into the bathroom for a shower. Having worked all day with little sleep, she quickly fell asleep after her shower.
The Next Day:
The next morning, after a quick run downstairs and breakfast, Freya left for work. Arriving at the building where Cole was located, as she was about to turn the corner to head for the underground parking lot, she saw Harry sitting in a car with the window rolled down nearby.
Freya frowned. Why was he here so early? If she remembered correctly, there wasn’t any detailed appointment between Cole and Harry today.
Just as Freya was thinking about this, Harry noticed her car and walked over to her. Freya slowly lowered the car window. “Mr. Becker.”
Harry replied, “Morning.”
Freya nodded. “Morning,” Then she asked, “Is there something you need here, Mr. Becker?”
Harry came here for no particular reason. He simply remembered the guess he had made the night before.
He said, “Last Saturday evening, at the restaurant’s entrance, I saw you, Mr. Gray, and Mr. Nolan.”

Treya listened, not yet understanding why he was suddenly mentioning this to her, when Harry asked, “You’re also Mr. Nolan’s student, right?”
Freya froze, furrowing her brows as she looked at him. “You-”
Harry, however, saw the answer in her reaction.
“So, the two projects of Cole, were they developed by you and your team?”
Freya pressed her lips together. “What exactly-”
“One last question,” Harry said. “The CUAP programming language from Cole, did you create it?”
Although he didn’t understand much about programming languages, his business was involved in related fields, and he knew very well how impressive CUAP was. From what he knew, CUAP existed from the very beginning of Cole’s establishment. If this guess was correct, it meant that Freya had developed this powerful language system when she was just seventeen. The programming language she created when she was so young was something that even Raven, up to this point, had yet to touch. This just showed how extraordinary Freya was in this field. People often praised Cole’s technology, but in reality, it wasn’t Johnny who was impressive. The truly remarkable one was Freya.
