Chapter 89

Noelle ignored Xenia’s boasts. She’d earn her own money. Turning to the store attendant, she said calmly, “The tires are fine. Please wrap them up.”

Betty sneered. “Petty much, huh? Didn’t your fancy school doctor feel like splurging on you?”

Xenia’s smile widened. “Yeah, Noelle! All those luxury cars—rentals! What a joke!”

Noelle took her bags. “At least I’m spending my own money.”

“Oh, Noelle. Family support is a blessing! Just apologize and come home! I envy your big, loving family,” Xenia whined.

Rachel snapped, “Cut the fake sympathy, Xenia! You drove a wedge between Noelle and her brothers! It’s all your fault!”

Xenia chuckled. “They like me better. What can I do?”

Noelle remained silent. In her past life, this would’ve devastated her. Now, she didn’t care.

Rachel glared at Xenia. “You’ll never be a real Liddell! You’re a fake!”

Xenia’s fury blazed. She wanted to completely replace Noelle as the Liddell daughter.

Outside, Rachel fumed. “Noelle, will you just let Xenia bully you?”

“If I’m not angry, why should I be?”

“You’re their real daughter! It’s Xenia’s manipulation, not your fault. I thought you were the problem, but it’s all her.”

Noelle sighed. “It’s not entirely Xenia. My brothers prefer an obedient sister, and she plays the part perfectly.” In the past, Noelle had poured her heart out for them, only to be taken for granted. Xenia’s superficial gestures had won them over. She shrugged. “So be it.”

Rachel’s voice softened. “So, the streaming—to make money?”

“My team’s doing well. I’m earning plenty.”

Rachel relaxed. “Does your brother know you’re the streamer everyone’s talking about?”

“He might. Not sure.” After last night’s match, Noelle suspected Lucas knew. She didn’t care. Her contract meant her popularity soared. Her family couldn't stop her.

That evening, Noelle’s livestream was featured on the homepage. She was thrilled, analyzing gameplay with her viewers during intense Play Kill matches. Her skill and energy drew massive crowds.

Frank watched, hearing her cheerful voice. A warmth spread through him.

Since leaving the Liddells, Noelle never looked back, never asked them for money. She didn't need it.

Last night, she’d humiliated Xenia. Lucas’s voice, slightly slurred, sounded through the chat. “Tank, you’re watching her stream, too?” Noelle recognized his regret. “You only have yourselves to blame. Think about how you treated her. She had no choice but to leave.”
