  Great plot! I love the dialog between the characters. My only criticism (and it is slight) would be the overuse of comparing the cost of things (i.e. the necklace cost more than most people’s homes). These comparisons show up in nearly every chapter. We get it - the people are filthy rich. And the phrase, “Santa isn’t real/Christmas is canceled”, while descriptive, should’ve only been used once. Other than these picky observations, I loved the story and hope to read more.
