Chapter 600
โMan, itโs barely 8 AM. Please, just let me sleep,โ Randy groaned. He had been up all night, trailing after Marion to this remote island. The moment theyโd arrived, Marion had made him rent a car for a whole month and now had dragged him to this desolate beach to spy on the filming. If it werenโt for the fact that Marion was his best friend, Randy wouldโve bailed long ago. This wasnโt his idea of fun.
He muttered under his breath, โI swear, even secret agents donโt have to do this much.โ
โLetโs just watch a little longer,โ Marion said, peering through the binoculars. His attention focused on the small fishing boat where Debra and Juan were boarding.
โGo buy a fishing boat.โ
โWhat?โ
Randy practically jumped out of his seat. โWeโre out of nowhere. Where am I supposed to get a boat?โ This place was a bit too rustic for his taste. Wealthy men like him usually didnโt come to places like this for romance. The location, the accommodations, and even the rented car sucked. He sighed, unwilling to waste money like that. But soon, he found himself buying a boat.
On the fishing boat, Randy was drowsy and half-asleep, while Marion was steering the boat, catching up with Debra and Juan. There were many fishing boats in the area, so few people would notice their boat, especially since they all looked quite similar.
On their boat, Debra and Juan watched as the massive net was lowered into the water.
Debra said skeptically, โAre you sure we can catch anything with this?โ
โNot sure,โ Juan replied with a shrug.
โLetโs give it a shot,โ Debra said, her hands quick to get to work. Most of the heavy lifting, though, was left to Juan, who managed to throw the net into the sea with the help of the fishermen. Now, they just had to sit still and wait for the fish to swim into the net.
It was Debraโs first time fishing, so she was still somewhat interested. Randy looked on and scoffed, โTheyโre not gonna catch anything decent. I bet all theyโll pull out are some tiny crabs and fish.โ Real, high-quality seafood came from the deep ocean, and encountering wild seafood was rare.
Marion made a call. โSend over the best youโve got.โ
A few minutes later, a fishing boat arrived, delivering several boxes of lobsters, crabs, and everything elseโtop-tier.

One of the fishermen approached, asking respectfully, โMr. Houston, will this do?โ
Randy was impressed. โHoly smokes! Finally treating me right, huh?โ
But before he could get too excited, Marion said coolly, โPut them in their fishing net.โ
โWhat?โ Randy nearly fell over. He had been looking forward to a feast.
Several agile fishermen strapped on diving gear and slipped into the water, stuffing everything into Debra and Juanโs net. Debra noticed bubbles rising to the surface. โIs something on the net?โ
One of the fishermen checked below and nodded. โLetโs pull it up.โ
Juan moved to help, telling Debra, โYou sit and rest. Iโll take care of it.โ
Together with the fishermen, Juan hauled up the net. When they saw what was inside, even the cameraman was stunned.
