Chapter 25
Alaricka gasped in pain.
“It’s okay, I’ll do it myself.”
The boy let go for a moment, then held Alaricka’s arm again. “No, how can I let you deal with this alone?”
Alaricka could only ignore him.
She carefully tended to her skin wounds, and the boy watched nervously.
“Do you need me to buy some medicine?”
“No need. I’ll buy it myself tomorrow.”
Fortunately, they were all skin wounds, and they didn’t bleed. Alaricka felt much better after a while.
After dealing with the wounds, an hour had passed.
The boy’s ears were already extremely red. “I’ll leave first. Take care of yourself.”
Alaricka leaned on the bed and asked, “What’s your name? I’ll transfer the room fee to you tomorrow.”
The boy blushed, looking like he couldn’t stand to stay any longer. “Ivan Shepherd. I’ll leave first. See you.”
After Ivan left, just before falling into a deep sleep, Alaricka suddenly remembered that she hadn’t hung up the phone.
Although she knew that Kieran would probably hang up on himself, she still took out her phone to check it.
To her surprise, the phone was still connected.
Without thinking much, she hung up directly and fell asleep.
The next morning, Alaricka saw Kieran sitting on the bed next to her.
As soon as she saw Kieran, Alaricka’s pupils dilated. “Why are you here?”
Kieran ignored her, lowering his head and swiping through his phone screen.
Alaricka slowly sat up, and because of the pain in her wounds, she winced, her eyebrows tightening.
Kieran understood her behavior differently.
He looked up at Alaricka, his eyes deep and cold.
He suddenly sneered, “You’re quite bold, daring to stay in the hotel with a male classmate.”
Alaricka’s eyebrows furrowed, before she could say anything, Kieran spoke again. “A wild night, huh?”
He pointedly glanced at the bruises on her body.
Alaricka was so angry that her head ached. “You came here early in the morning just to say this nonsense?”
Kieran stood up, looking down at her, saying with a cold voice, “You still don’t think you’re wrong.”
Alaricka looked at him stiffly. “I don’t know where I’m wrong.”
She thought of last night’s incident, and her heart was aching. “You’d better go back early and accompany Ms. Whitaker. Don’t be here talking to me.”
Kieran’s eyes narrowed slightly, flickering with a cold light.
“Alaricka, do you remember that you just turned 18 years old?”
Alaricka grabbed a pillow and threw it at Kieran fiercely. “What does it have to do with you?!”
Kieran dodged the pillow, sneering as he loosened his tie.
“Since you want a man, why didn’t you come to me? Your classmate doesn’t look good, and can he please you?”
Alaricka frowned. “What are you talking about?”
The next second, Kieran suddenly pressed over, roughly pulling her collar open, pinching her chin.
“Tell me, are you satisfied with that man?”
“Are you crazy?!”
Alaricka pushed Kieran’s shoulder. “Kieran, if you do this, aren’t you afraid that Roschelle won’t get back together with you?”
Kieran gripped her hands and pinned them above her head, his body pressing hers with force. With every breath she took, Alaricka was overwhelmed by his fir scent.
Ignoring her words, Kieran bent his head low, his well-defined nose snuffling at her neck like a stray dog marking territory. One hand lifted the hem of her blouse, and his calloused palm settled on her waist.
Alaricka shivered all over. “Kieran, don’t touch me.”
People said a man’s desire and love could be separated.
Long ago, Alaricka didn’t believe it.
