Chapter 226

Paloma ignored Sammy’s yelling and called security.

The call got picked up quickly, and I heard someone panting on the other end: “We’ll be there soon.”

Paloma frowned, “Hurry up, don’t bother the players during the match.”

According to the rules, no matter what happened, each contestant only had one chance to compete, no exceptions.

That is to say, Alarieka couldn’t start over again, and could only take a chance this one time.

Paloma was worried and anxious that Alarieka might be affected by Sammy and wouldn’t be able to finish well.

The noise Sammy made was really loud, so loud that even the contestants in the waiting room heard it. They all ran over and stood at the door between the waiting room and the stage, peeking in.

They spotted the shiny sign and the man holding it behind the audience seats right away.

After they saw the man’s face and the words on the sign clearly, their expressions changed.

Sammy still hadn’t given up.

Right away, they looked a bit gloating, watching Alaricka on stage like they were watching a show, and whispered to each other.

Unexpectedly, Alaricka was still on stage playing just fine.

Roschelle stood in the corner of the studio, with Kieran and Marlene by her side.

She looked up and gave Kieran a careful look.

Kieran had his eyes on Alaricka on the stage, but his gaze was light, with no emotion. It was like just a casual glance, looking like he didn’t really care.

Roschelle just breathed a sigh of relief, then heard Marlene by her ear say, “This Alarieka, how come nothing happens to others, but when it’s her turn, all kinds of messy stuff pop up? I think maybe Alarieka really pulled some strings, her tricks aren’t ordinary.”

Roschelle pretended to be considerate and said, “Take another look, maybe there’s some misunderstanding.”

Marlene snorted, “What kind of misunderstanding is this? Alarieka never even really learned piano, but dared to enter the competition and even passed the preliminaries, who would believe that if you told them?”

Roschelle pressed her lips together and didn’t say anything else.

She looked up at Kieran again and saw that Kieran was still staring blankly in Alaricka’s direction, which made her unhappy.

She tugged on Kieran’s sleeve: “Kier, let’s go inside, it’s noisy here, I feel a bit uncomfortable.”

Marlene got a little scared when she heard that: “Where do you feel bad? Let’s hurry up and go inside to sit down.”

Kieran didn’t say yes or no.

Roschelle got what she wanted and pulled Kieran inside.

The security guards came quickly. A dozen of them rushed over one after another, pinned Sammy to the ground, and grabbed the light sign.

Sammy was trapped, hands and feet stuck, but his mouth was still shouting.

To make sure Sammy stayed quiet, the security guard immediately covered Sammy’s mouth.

Even when facing a dozen security guards, Sammy’s eyes were bloodshot, and he thrashed around on the ground and in their hands, struggling desperately.

Even a dozen security guards couldn’t completely control Sammy’s movements right away.

Even if Sammy couldn’t talk, he still made quite a scene.

Sammy’s moves were wild and crazy. He struggled a lot. The security guards held back because they were worried about hurting him, so they didn’t use full force. That’s why Sammy sometimes broke free from their grip.

No one stopped his mouth, and he shouted at the stage, “Alarieka getting into the next round was rigged! The judges and Alarieka were in cahoots, it was all rigged!”

Sammy’s roar almost drowned out Alaricka’s piano.

A group of players watching the show let out a burst of exclamations, their eyes lit up. The ones who were more gloating even wanted to clap and say, nice scolding.

There was a constant rustling of people talking, plus the noise from Sammy’s side, so even the piano music Alarieka played didn’t have a quiet enough environment.

Paloma looked even more pissed, pressed her lips together impatiently, and just called the head of security.

The head of security was out of breath and acted really humble, “We’ll take care of it right away, don’t worry, we’ll drag him away right now, I won’t let him bother you again.”

Paloma frowned, twirling the pen in her hand: “Take it away now.”

“Yes, yes, we knew, we knew.”

After hanging up the phone, the security captain gritted his teeth and looked at Sammy, who was still struggling. He gave his colleague a look.

The colleague got the hint right away and rushed over, pinning Sammy down hard. Both hands covered Sammy’s mouth without mercy, making sure Sammy wouldn’t make another sound.

On stage, Alarieka looked calm as usual, her fingers flying over the piano keys, and the music flowed out smoothly and pleasantly.
