Chapter 216
She didn’t want to be this close to Kieran.
This would just remind her of those times when Kieran kept her in bed.
Too chaotic, too suffocating.
Kieran lowered his head and slowly moved closer to her, his warm breath brushing against her cheek.
“Alarieka, you tell me, how should I punish you?”
“Yeah? Tell me, should I use my sponsor privileges now?”
Alarieka’s scalp tingled, her breath stopped, and her curled–up fingers almost dug into her palms.
Kieran was threatening her, using the Mcintosh Piano Competition to threaten her.
What should Kieran do, how should he stand up for Roschelle? Alarieka might have gone through all of it.
But the Mcintosh Piano Competition was different.
That was her only way now to completely clear Lindsey of any connection with Roschelle.
She decided she couldn’t stop here.
She was going to the finals, and she was going to be a top contender for the championship with Roschelle.

Kieran couldn’t touch her game.
Absolutely not!
She knew that as long as Kieran made a move, no matter how fair and just the organizers were, they still couldn’t compete with Kieran.
This thing might really end here, no room left.
This wasn’t the result she wanted.
She suddenly opened her eyes but couldn’t see clearly the pair of eyes in front of her.
She heard her own voice was a little hoarse: “Kieran, let me make you some hangover soup. You probably haven’t had my hangover soup for a long time. Do you still remember what it tastes like?”
For a moment, Kieran didn’t make a move.
Alarieka braced herself and said quietly, “Is your head hurting again? Let me give you a massage.”
Kieran still didn’t respond.
Alarieka almost thought Kieran wouldn’t accept her trying to please him and act weak, when Kieran suddenly let go of her chin and then stepped back a few steps.
Plop-
The room got really bright, Alarieka couldn’t get used to it, and closed her eyes right away.
When she closed her eyes, Kieran’s cool, hoarse voice came over: “I’ll give you only half an hour. After half an hour, I want to see the hangover soup.”

Alaricka felt relieved, opened her eyes, and looked at Kieran, saying, “It won’t take half an hour. I’ll be back soon.”
Alarieka turned her head and ran out the door.
As soon as she went out, she saw that group of contestants was still standing there, and Paloma was still there too.
As soon as Alaricka came out, everyone’s eyes were on her, checking her out from head to toe, their eyes excited to find any marks on her from when Kieran had beaten her.
Paloma walked over, grabbed her arm and looked around. “Alarieka, are you okay? He didn’t do anything, right?”
Alarieka shook her head, “I’m fine, but I have something important to do right now, so I can’t talk with you. I’m leaving first.”
She threw out this sentence and walked away, leaving behind a bunch of confused people.
Alarieka ran to the hotel kitchen.
Normally, the kitchen in a six–star hotel was strictly managed, and outsiders were generally not allowed in.
Maybe Kieran had already told them, so when Alarieka went in, only the head chef stopped her and asked who she was, then handed her a hat and a mask, telling her to put them on before she could go into the kitchen.
Alarieka did as told and quickly found the ingredients and pots she wanted in the kitchen, then skillfully started cooking the hangover soup.
About fifteen minutes later, the hangover soup was ready.

Alaricka carefully poured it into the bowl and carried the tray back to the door of the same room.
When she came back, there was nobody at the door.
Alarieka didn’t knock, just went right in.
At the entrance, she saw the man sitting on the sofa with his back to her. He leaned back a bit against the sofa, raised his hand, and rested it on his forehead.
Alarieka walked over quietly and put the hangover soup on the coffee table in front of him. She said softly, “It’s still a bit hot, be careful when you drink it.”
Kieran rubbed his fingers on his temple and let out a long sigh.
Alarieka went all the way and just handed the spoon of hangover soup right to Kieran.
After all that, Alarieka walked behind Kieran, pulled down Kieran’s hand that was still on his forehead, and put her own hand there instead.
Her two fair, slender hands gently rested on Kieran’s temples, her fingertips pressing on his temples, slowly rubbing.
She had given Kieran massages many times, so she naturally knew where to press and how much pressure Kieran would like.
Don’t overthink it, Alarieka was already in the zone.

Chapter 217
She lowered her eyes and watched as Kieran drank the hangover soup she made, little by little, until it was all gone.
Alaricka asked him softly, “Does the hangover soup taste good? Does your head still hurt?”
“Focus, don’t talk.”
Kieran put the empty bowl back on the coffee table, closed his eyes, and just enjoyed her massage.
Alarieka shut up like he wanted and focused on the massage.
Alarieka pressed for almost twenty minutes. Both her hands were really sore, and her fingers trembled a little whenever she moved them. She had to keep her arms raised for so long, it felt like something heavy was hanging from them, so heavy that she just wanted to put her hands down right away.
Alarieka pressed her lips together and held on for a while. She was really too tired, so she stopped for a bit and asked Kieran in a low voice, “Feeling any better?”
She hoped her playing nice and acting weak worked.
Kieran and Patrick were not the same.
Patrick was still a mad dog on Roschelle’s leash, and he still had some sanity left.
But Kieran was just a beast that no one could ever tame, and once he bit down, he would never let go. He had to tear off a piece of flesh or

rip off a layer of skin before he was done.
Right now, she was just a weak high school student. She really just wanted to keep her distance from Kieran, Roschelle, and the others, and didn’t want to fall out with Kieran just yet.
The only one Kieran cared about was Roschelle. This time, by making the surveillance footage public, she basically put Roschelle on the spot and gave her a bad name.
Kieran and Patrick stood up for Roschelle, just like she expected.
This thing, she acted on impulse, but she didn’t regret it.
She already knew the consequences before she did it.
But she didn’t expect that Patrick would hit a contestant in public, acting all rebellious and arrogant.
Kieran was just worse than Patrick.
She asked, and after a moment, Kieran finally answered, his voice low and rich: “Go on.”
Alarieka frowned, then had to raise her hand again, pressing her fingertip on Kieran’s temple.
Another ten minutes went by, Alarieka’s arms were already super sore, and every little move felt like her bones were making rusty creaking sounds.
She really couldn’t hold on and let go.
She saw early in the morning that Kieran’s brows weren’t furrowed anymore. Instead, he looked tired but relaxed, not like a patient tormented by a headache.

As soon as she let go, Kieran lifted his hand and grabbed her wrist. Then he gave a sharp pull, yanking her upper body down and closer to his back.
Alaricka didn’t have time to fight back, and by the time she realized what was happening, her chin was already kind of resting on Kieran’s shoulder.
Alarieka’s brow twitched. “What are you doing?”
She tried to pull her hand back, but Kieran just gripped her wrist even tighter.
She gritted her teeth.
Kieran raised his thumb and pressed hard on the two tendons in the middle of the inside of her wrist, then pushed down on the back of her hand, forcing her palm open to show her palm.
Kieran’s eyes fell on her palm, and his voice was low: “You hit Patrick really hard.”
Alarieka pressed her lips together.
She hit really hard, so even now, the palm she used to slap Patrick twice was still very red, totally different from her other hand.
Alarieka looked up, with a bit of suppressed anger in her eyes, but her voice was calm: “He choked me, so why couldn’t I hit him?”
Kieran shook off her hand and said coldly, “You know why he hit you.”
It was not a question, it was a statement.
Alarieka’s expression changed a little.
Chapter 217
Kieran was reminding her, and also settling scores with her.
Her showing weakness and trying to please didn’t help at all.

Alaricka stood up straight and looked ahead: “What did I do wrong?”
Kieran also got up from the couch, turned around slowly, his dark eyes deep and cold, looking at her indifferently.
“If you could ask this question, it meant you still hadn’t realized your mistake.”
Kieran’s eyes slowly moved down and landed on her neck.
Patrick squeezed really hard, he actually kind of wanted to choke her to death, and he used a lot of strength, probably all he had.
So up until now, there were still red marks left on her fair, delicate neck from being grabbed hard.
It looked really shocking.
But there wasn’t a trace of emotion in Kieran’s eyes.
Alarieka pressed her lips together and stubbornly lifted her chin to look at him, not intimidated at all.
