Chapter 161

“Now it was fine, my name was cleared.”

“Just hope that from now on, Sir Argent and Mr. Argent would teach Clarissa well and not let her come out and bite people again.”

Everyone went silent.

Alarieka was still talking.

She looked at Kieran’s narrow black eyes, looking calm and composed.

“There wasn’t anything like what you guys said between me and Mr. Argent.”

“I didn’t know Mr. Argent, but as for me, I didn’t have any feelings for Mr. Argent that shouldn’t have existed, not even a little bit.”

Alarieka looked around at everyone, her voice steady: “You got me wrong.”

Finally, Alarieka looked at Roschelle.

“You could rest assured, I wasn’t interested in your Kieran.”

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone was like, "Whoa!"

Not interested could mean something big or small. On the small side, it just meant a guy and a girl didn’t like each other.

To put it simply, it was just looking down on Kieran.

How could Alarieka talk like that?!

That was Kieran!

Alarieka was really fearless, even dared to insult Kieran.

Wallace really did pull a long face and said in a low voice, “Alarieka, do you know what you’re saying?”

Alarieka said quietly, “What? Want me to say it again?”

Alarieka pushed through the crowd and walked outside. She was slim and tall, and looking at her from behind, she actually gave off a sense of determination.

Since it was already found out that Alarieka sneaked in without an invitation, she didn’t need to climb over the wall to leave. She just walked right through the middle of the ballroom and left through the main door.

The banquet hall was dead silent, and you could only hear Alarieka’s footsteps.

Before leaving the banquet hall, Alarieka looked back.

In the crowd, Kieran and Roschelle stood out, really eye-catching.

Even though she said those things, Kieran didn’t react at all, and he didn’t even glance at her. His dark eyes only looked at Roschelle, like he could only see Roschelle.

Really fell hard for love.

Alarieka gave a sarcastic look and turned away.

The next day after they went to school, Alarieka and Jaylene went to find the girl with the stomachache right away.

When Alarieka first found the girl’s class, she saw the girl carrying a Chanel bag on her shoulder and wearing a diamond necklace around her neck, happily walking through the hallway.

Alarieka and Jaylene looked at each other, then blocked the door.

The girl saw them, paused for a second, and a flash of surprise and panic crossed her face, but she quickly calmed down and walked over to them with big steps.

“You’d better be here to pay up, or else I don’t have time to mess with you.”

She acted all arrogant, like she was sure Alarieka was wrong.

The classmates around heard the noise and quietly looked over at them.

Alarieka gave a slight smile: “I just came this time to show you something.”

The girl frowned and said impatiently, “What is it? Don’t waste my time.”

Alarieka took a recorder out of his pocket, held it up in the air, turned the volume all the way up, and the sound from the recorder spread around.

At first, people couldn’t really hear clearly. The voices of two girls were mixed together, and one of the girls kept crying and shouting.

Seeing the shocked look on the girl’s face, Alarieka paused the recorder and said calmly, “Can you tell whose voice it is?”

She stared at the girl’s face, and the girl’s expression slowly turned awkward.

Alarieka said, “It was Clarissa’s voice.”

Alarieka pressed the switch, and the recorder started playing again.

Clarissa said herself, “No, I didn’t, I didn’t drug anyone, I just had someone pretend to have a stomachache from bad food, there’s no way I could have drugged anyone, you’ve got the wrong person, it really wasn’t me… it really wasn’t me!”

The girl’s face changed a lot, and her face instantly turned pale.

Alarieka hit the pause button and laughed, “I remember your family wasn’t well-off, so how could you carry a Chanel bag?”

The girl bit her lip, stared at her with wide eyes, lips parted as she breathed softly, unable to say a word.

Alarieka’s eyes dropped, landing on the girl’s hands hanging by her sides, still shaking.

Alarieka said softly, “Did Clarissa buy it for you?”

The girl whispered, “No, no!”

Alarieka’s face slowly fell, and the faint smile in her eyes disappeared. Her gaze turned cold: “So stupid, you took the money but didn’t even try to hide it. Walking in with a Chanel bag first thing in the morning, are you afraid I won’t know you took Clarissa’s money?”
