Chapter 154
Not only that, she also went to learn massage techniques on her own, just so she could give Kieran a massage when he had a headache and help ease the pain.
If it had been before, she probably would’ve rushed over to give Kieran a massage by now.
Alarieka looked down at her hands.
Even though a long time had passed, she still hadn’t forgotten the acupoints, the pressure, and all the techniques of massage.
And there was also the scene where she stood in front of Kieran, and the one where she gave Kieran a massage from behind.
It was just like it happened yesterday.
It was too clear.
But things were different now, she and Kieran could never be like they were before.
So she looked away, pretending she didn’t know anything.
Time passed by second by second. Alarieka carefully opened the door again, but the voices of Wallace and the Argent family outside got closer and closer, and their footsteps came nearer and nearer.
“This was Kier’s lounge, right?”
“Yes.”
“Then hurry up and let him out, the party was about to start.”
Alarieka’s heart skipped a beat. She closed the door again and locked it really carefully.
She moved her feet, trying to hide behind a cabinet that could block her body.
She carefully hid behind the cabinet, her heart beating faster and faster, head down.
Suddenly, Kieran’s voice came from not far away.
“Come here.”
Alarieka looked up and stuck her head out to look at Kieran.
Kieran’s upper body was already slumped against the back of the sofa, his brows tightly furrowed, eyes closed, lips pressed together, veins bulging on his temple and neck. His hand was still raised, rubbing his temple aimlessly, like he was really struggling with a headache.
Alarieka didn’t move, looked away, and said calmly, “What’s up?”
Kieran’s voice was a bit hoarse, and he was holding something back in his tone.
“Come here.”
“Don’t make me say it a second time.”
Alarieka clenched her palm.
She really didn’t want to go.
But she still had to rely on Kieran to stay in this lounge. What if she didn’t do what Kieran wanted and Kieran kicked her out?
Alarieka could only honestly stand up and walk over to Kieran.
When Alaricka got closer, she could see that Kieran’s face looked a bit pale, most of the color had faded from his lips, and even his forehead was covered in a fine layer of sweat.
Kieran leaned his head back, eyes shut tight, lips slightly parted, letting out a couple of heavy, hoarse moans.
Alarieka quietly looked away and stared at the wine–red carpet under her feet.
How Kieran really was had nothing to do with her.
Kieran leaned forward, elbows on his knees, and let out a heavy sigh.
He waved at her, “Come here, give me a massage.”
The moment Alarieka heard Kieran’s voice, she first couldn’t believe it, then thought she heard it wrong.
Alarieka lifted her eyelids and hesitated, saying, “What did you say?”
Kieran frowned a little, his voice low and husky: “Come over and give me a massage.”
Alarieka subconsciously thought Kieran might be crazy.
Their relationship back then wasn’t the kind where she could give him a massage.
If she gave him a massage, Kieran should’ve doubted if he did something tricky.
Alarieka said, “Can’t you massage yourself?”
Kieran didn’t answer.
Alarieka said again, “How about you just bear with it for now? Later, I can introduce you or Roschelle to the place where I learned massage. You guys can go learn, or you can just call a massage therapist to come and give you a massage.”
Kieran sat up straight and slowly opened his eyes.
A pair of narrow, pitch–black eyes stared at her. It looked casual, but there was a lot of force in them, with a sense of threat and pressure.
Alarieka paused for a moment when she saw that look.
She frowned.
She thought she’d handled it pretty well and really considered Kieran.
What else did Kieran want?
Alarieka just started to speak: “You-”
“Come here.”
Kieran’s dark eyes looked gloomy, and his voice was low and deep: “Don’t make me say it a second time.”
He lifted his eyelids and looked at the lounge door.
Alarieka followed his gaze, and her heart tightened right away.
At this moment, Wallace had already led his people to the door of the lounge.
Even if she didn’t open the door, she could still hear the sound at the door.
There was still knocking on the door.
Knock, knock, knock-
“Is Kier in there?”
Wallace’s old voice came through the door and reached Alaricka’s ears.
Kieran was threatening her.
Alaricka bit her lip, walked over, went around the couch, and walked behind Kieran.
