Chapter 95
When Dustin heard that, his face darkened. He pulled Simone along and strode forward.
On the set of The Legend of the Swordsman 4, a group of people surrounded Camille and another woman. The woman pointed viciously at Camille and yelled at her. Camille dared not speak; she simply endured the woman's shouting like a helpless victim. The onlookers watched with interest; some even looked slightly amused.
“Camille Langley, look at yourself! Do you really think you're good enough for the lead role? Everyone here is more experienced than you! Even a supporting actress is more qualified!” The woman pointed at Camille's face, her tone aggressive and arrogant. “Looking at your fake innocent face makes me sick! You have no talent or skill. I heard you were just an extra. How many people did you sleep with to get this role? Why don't you just tell us?”
Camille’s eyes welled up. She felt helpless. It was her first day of shooting. She had planned to get along with the crew and treat everyone to drinks, but this woman had slapped the drink from her hand and yelled at her instead. She’d never been in such a situation and didn’t know how to respond.
“The more I look at you, the more disgusted I feel! Who are you playing innocent for?” The woman’s voice grew more vicious. “If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be stuck in a minor role!” She raised her hand at Camille.
Dustin arrived just in time and grabbed the woman’s hand. “Who are you? What business is this of yours? Get lost!” The woman’s eyes widened as she glared at him.
Dustin’s face turned cold. With a flick of his wrist, he threw her to the ground. The woman screamed, clearly embarrassed.
“Dustin…” Camille softly called out.
“Bastard! You dare hit me? Do you know who I am?” The woman struggled to stand, her eyes filled with malice and contempt.
“I don’t need to know,” Dustin said coldly. “All I know is that you were asking for it!”
The woman’s face twisted with anger. “Who do you think you are? How dare you talk to me like that?” She glared at him with hatred and sneered. “I get it now. You’re just another of Camille’s boy toys, right? She’s so cheap; she’ll sleep with anyone…”
Bang!
The woman flew through the air and landed hard behind the crowd. This shocked the entire crew.
“If you dare speak another word against Camille, you won’t live to see tomorrow!” Dustin said coldly.
Everyone was shocked. Whispers rippled through the crew: “Who’s this guy? He’s so fierce. Camille didn’t get her role through him, right?” “He seems like a gangster. How strong could he really be at his age? There’s no way he’s that powerful. Camille probably did sleep her way into the lead role…”
The woman was bleeding from the corner of her mouth, her face pale with fear. She was terrified; she hadn’t expected anyone on the crew to dare harm her like this. If he had been more aggressive, she could have been killed.
“You… How dare you?!” she snapped. “This isn’t just any production! You think you’re asking to die?”
Dustin’s face grew colder. He looked at the people around him indifferently. “Tell Horace Timm to get here right now!”
