Chapter 104/105: Mr. Chen, being unmarried, naturally doesn't understand the intimacy between a married couple.

Xia Yangyang watched as Gu Qichen leaned closer. His warm breath brushed her ear, yet she remained frozen, eyes squeezed shut. "Get away! Get away from me, Gu Qichen! Let go!" she protested.

Gu Qichen was teasing her, enjoying her adorable reaction. However, he realized this was the wrong time, noticing the rash covering her body. He was about to leave when the sickroom door burst open.

A man appeared, witnessing the scene and hearing Xia Yangyang's cries. He paused, then, enraged, strode forward, yanking Gu Qichen away and shoving him. "Gu Qichen, you beast!"

Xia Yangyang stared in astonishment at Chen Yu's unexpected arrival. Chen Yu shielded her, addressing Gu Qichen, "I never imagined the esteemed Mr. Gu could be so shameless and vile."

Gu Qichen, frowning, shoved back. "Who are you? What's your problem?"

Chen Yu's disbelief at his own lack of recognition only fueled his anger. Turning to Xia Yangyang, he asked, "Little miss, did this lowlife do anything to you?"

Xia Yangyang glanced at Gu Qichen; his face was dark with anger. Seeing her bewildered expression, Chen Yu's worry intensified. "Don't worry," he reassured her, "Even if he's the youngest CEO of Shengyuan Group, we'll report him to the police. I'm an eyewitness. If he dared to molest you, we'll ruin him."

Xia Yangyang, realizing the seriousness of the situation, stammered, "Chen Yu, it's not what you think."

But Chen Yu continued, "Don't submit to his tyranny. Tell me the truth, and I'll help you."

Finally, Xia Yangyang blurted out, "Chen Yu, he's my husband."

The word "husband" stunned Chen Yu. Xia Yangyang lowered her head, having spoken those words to Gu Qichen for the first time.

Gu Qichen, previously annoyed by Chen Yu, now found the situation amusing. He approached Chen Yu. "Are you still going to report me, Mr. Chen?"

Chen Yu remained unconvinced. Though he'd heard from Shen Shichuan that Xia Yangyang had married, he doubted it, knowing she'd recently broken up with her childhood sweetheart. He'd just witnessed Gu Qichen forcing himself on her.

His face darkened. "I saw you…forcing yourself on her."

Gu Qichen scoffed, his voice icy. "Since Mr. Chen hasn't married, he naturally doesn't understand this was merely playful interaction between my wife and me."
