She probably didn't expect that I would be so arrogant even though she had the photos. I confidently said, "If they are fake, I will leave on my own."

That's exactly what I wanted.

"Alright, in order to prove my innocence, I have no choice but to personally call that bald guy," I said, pretending to be helpless. I took out my phone and mirrored the screen on the big screen for a video call.

Everyone was focused and staring at the big screen, and I dialed.

The phone was answered, and a bald, middle-aged man appeared on the screen.

The manager saw the man in the video and quickly came up to my camera to greet, "Chairman, long time no see.”

The whole scene was in an uproar, and what shocked Leonard even more was what the bald man said next.

"Long time no see. My daughter didn't cause you any trouble, did she, Audrey? What do you need me for?"

The chairman is actually Audrey’s father? "Impossible! Impossible!" Gisselle was shocked and fell to the ground.

I just said that if it wasn’t true, I would pack up and leave.

Leonard was also shocked beyond words. He had never known about her background, only that her father was very wealthy in business.

I didn’t expect that she was the chairman of the company. Everyone was shocked; the newly appointed supervisor turned out to be the chairman’s daughter.

"Dad, one of my colleagues at work saw you picking me up last time and thought you were some wealthy man who was financially supporting me. Just to prove them wrong, I'm going to give you a call," I explained to my dad, then turned the camera around to capture all of my colleagues.

When my father heard me say this, he knew that his daughter had been criticized by others and needed his support.

His face changed, and he said seriously, “Who has so much free time to say such things? Can you just say whatever you want? A girl’s reputation is very important. If you continue to spread rumors, I will tell your grandfather, and I will seek legal action."

I turned my head and looked at Gisselle. She heard that my dad was going to sue her and was so scared that she couldn’t say a word. Now, not only did she lose her job, but she also had to face a lawsuit.

To my surprise, Leonard suddenly appeared in front of my camera, warmly greeting my dad, "Hello, uncle. I am Audrey's boyfriend. Next time, I will accompany Audrey to visit you."

I had not told my father about Leonard’s matter, and I was about to explain when my father interrupted me.

"How can you young people nowadays call it dating? It's just playing together as good friends; it doesn't count."

Leonard was extremely embarrassed; his smile even became stiff.

I understood it in my heart and soul. Dad didn’t take a liking to him, and sure enough, Dad has a keen eye for people. At first glance, he knew Leonard wasn’t a good person.

Everyone saw Leonard’s embarrassment and started discussing it, saying that he was trying to climb the social ladder.

Originally, Leonard, who used to be rich, handsome, and gentle, also wanted to live off others, but he was immediately rejected by his father-in-law.

"Dad, I won't bother you anymore. I have something to take care of here. Bye."

I hung up the phone and started dealing with the matter.
