"Mr. Tanner, I'm sorry, but this is important! Do you remember Naomi Schiffer's hospitalization?" the assistant asked anxiously.

"Yes," Damian replied. "What's wrong? Didn't I send her a get-well gift basket? Is she trying to blackmail me?" He immediately suspected the worst. It didn't matter that she was a supermodel; the advertisements were filmed, and she was paid in full. If she attempted any shady dealings, Tanner Corporation's legal team would fight her relentlessly.

"No. Naomi's team says her hospitalization was due to allergies. The allergen is…" The assistant hesitated, and Damian's impatience grew. He wanted to return to the meeting.

"Say it!" Damian snapped, prodding his assistant.

"She claims she's allergic to our perfume, and that it contains harmful ingredients," the assistant blurted out, quickly stepping back to avoid another prod.

"What?!" Damian exploded. "She's lost her mind! How is that possible?!"

"I-I don't think it's possible either," his assistant stammered, hesitant due to the unclear information he'd received.

"She's slandering me! Nonsense!" Damian barked. "Sue her! Find me a lawyer! We'll sue her for slander! That…" he used a derogatory term, then paused, glancing toward the meeting room. His anger shifted to concern. "This can't get out. What would they think?"

"Keep this quiet," he ordered. "Find out what she wants. Is she blackmailing me? Warn her to stop, or she'll regret it!" He hoped to contain the situation, but his assistant's face crumpled.

"Mr. Tanner, it's too late! Reporters were there, and it's probably all over the internet by now. I can't stop it!"

"Reporters?!" Damian roared, raw anger surging through him. "This is planned! How were they there so fast?!"

His assistant remained silent before cautiously stating, "You arranged for reporters to be there. You wanted publicity photos when the gift was delivered to Ms. Schiffer."

Damian was speechless. He'd forgotten. He'd expected positive press, never anticipating this outcome. He'd essentially sabotaged himself. The damage would be irreparable.

Bewildered and unprepared for this crisis, he was at a loss.

"F-Find a way to minimize the damage," he stammered. "Then deal with that woman. Calming her down is crucial!" If Naomi retracted her statement, he might salvage the situation.
