Chapter 731

Eloise intended to pursue Noah Richards but hadn't found a suitable way to establish a relationship with him. Building a relationship with the Richards family wouldn't be easy.

"There's a way, but it'll take some effort," Eloise said, pausing and looking at Arianna. "How's the new project?"

"That bastard is in charge, and it's got nothing to do with me," Arianna snorted.

"Nothing to do with you? If he's in charge, you're even more connected to it. His success or failure will greatly impact you," Eloise replied, taking the sapphire from Arianna. "Remember, what belongs to you will remain yours. No matter how many hands it passes through, it'll return to you in the end."

Arianna's gaze fell thoughtfully on the box in her mother's hand.

The La Beautรฉ Group press conference was undoubtedly a success. Talk of the perfume being poisonous ceased. Online discussions, while present, focused on refuting the rumors. The event generated positive buzz. People became curious about Lily's sleep-inducing aromatherapy, with insomniacs urging mass production. However, some more cautious individuals requested safety tests.

Lily's fame was undeniable. Her name constantly trended online, and demand for perfumes attributed to her soared, fetching exorbitant prices for counterfeit products. La Beautรฉ Group had to crack down on these forgeries. Having patented her perfume, the company planned to launch a Lily-branded product line.

The company's view of Lily had completely changed. Before the press conference, many questioned the CEO's choice of an unknown, controversial woman. Now, they believed he'd made an excellent choice in his future bride; she was stunning, talented, daring, and capable.

Despite this, the much-discussed Lily was stuck in the lab, enduring relentless nagging.

"Please spare me! You've nagged me all morning!" she exclaimed.

Lily had returned to the lab for peace and quiet before resuming her interrupted work. She hadn't expected Olivia, followed soon by Jenny, to find her, leaving her no escape. Both Olivia and Jenny wanted her to take the practicing certificate exam.

"If you want us to stop nagging, take the exam! It won't be tough for you. Why fight this and let them hold it against you?" Jenny pleaded, having forgone even a drink of water in her efforts to persuade Lily.

"Yeah, yeah!" Olivia echoed. "Jen's absolutely right. It's only a practicing certificateโ€”just take it! You'll pass."

Lily covered her ears and rolled her eyes. "I won't."

"Bullshit!" Jenny retorted. "You've been in this industry for so long! How could you not pass? Liar! You won an international award! Stop finding excuses and take the exam to save yourself and the company trouble!"

Lily slammed the desk. "I'm not bullshitting you! I really won't pass. I've tried before!"
