She teased Olivia immediately.

"I meant he's not like some men—dumb and boring. It's as if saying something nice would kill him!"

Her words were vague, but the subject was clear.

Lily wouldn't let it drop so easily. "Is that so? Who is this man? Do I know him? Is he handsome and brave? Is his surname Sullivan?"

"You can talk about me, but don't like it when I talk about you. You have double standards!" Lily said emotionally, shaking her head.

"Him? Who are you referring to?" Lily feigned ignorance.

Olivia was furious but helpless. "Okay, I'll stop teasing you!"
