Chapter 545

Everyone stared at each other in stunned silence. No one understood Lisa's meaning or whom she was calling. Daisy was even more confused, experiencing a bad premonition.

After dialing the number, Lisa put a finger to her lips, shushing the crowd. The speakerphone was on, and everyone waited for the call to connect.

Meanwhile, Lily was examining the piece of wood Benedict had given her. So engrossed was she that she didn't notice her phone ringing. By the time she realized it, it had been ringing for a long time.

She answered, "Hello, Lisa?"

A commotion erupted from the crowd. No one expected that woman to be on the other end, and her accent suggested she was a Hylander.

"Lilsy, I'm calling to thank you," Lisa said calmly, looking ahead. She felt relieved to finally express her gratitude publicly for a long-overdue thank you. Lily's perfume had made Lisa an online sensation, but she hadn't been able to acknowledge Lily properly until now.

"Huh?" Lily, unaware she was on a live broadcast, replied naturally, "Thank you, I'm glad you like it!"

"I love it! I absolutely love the perfume you made for me." Lisa emphasized, then paused. "Can I tell everyone your name?" Daisy had suggested Lily might prefer to remain out of the spotlight, so Lisa intended to let Lily decide.

Lily suddenly realized something was amiss. "Everyone? What do you mean, everyone?"

The commotion at the scene confirmed her suspicions. Startled, she asked, "Are you being interviewed?"

"Yes," Lisa confirmed. "Lilsy, can I tell everyone who you are? They all want to know the name of the perfumer."

"I" Lily was surprised by the live interview.

Before she could respond, voices from the crowd shouted, "Lily! It's Lily!" "That's right! It's Lily! I recognize her voice!"

The answer was obvious; everyone guessed her identity without Lily's confirmation. Lisa's nickname for her, coupled with Lily's recent grand prize win at the French perfume competition, made it easy to deduce. Initially, however, many doubted an ordinary Hylander perfumer could create such an exceptional fragrance.

The live connection and the recognition of her voice officially confirmed Lily's identity as the perfumer.

Silence fell on both ends of the phone, broken only by the excited cheers of the crowd, celebrating the solution to the mystery.

After a few seconds, Lily said, "That's right, I'm Lily."
