Alexander said, "If we can show her the experiment is doomed to fail, she might change her mind."

Austin shook his head. "Well, you may be right, but how are we going to do that? We can't take over the experiment, can we? Unless she sees it herself, someone as suspicious as she is will never believe it." Dominic nodded repeatedly. Based on his conversation with Yasmin, he knew how stubborn she was, despite occasional wavering. This made persuading her difficult. "That's what we have to do—conduct the experiment!" Alexander exclaimed. "Let's show her how it will fail."

Austin was bewildered, but Mike had a sense of Alexander's meaning. "You're not talking about hypnosis, are you?"

If they could hypnotize Yasmin as Rhea had hypnotized Ross and stage the experiment, they might mislead her into believing it had failed.

"No, no, no! That won't work," Austin protested, shaking his head. "What about Mike and Prince Ross? The hypnosis failed on them, proving it's ineffective. Besides, we won't even have a chance to meet Queen Yasmin. How are we going to hypnotize her?" He doubted the method's feasibility.

Dominic said, "I think it's worth a shot."

"Uncle Dom?" Austin looked at him, puzzled.

Dominic leaned forward, clearing his throat. "There have been successful cases, so hypnosis is feasible. Of course, completely controlling someone's mind through hypnosis has never been achieved." He glanced meaningfully at Mike, the man Rhea had failed to control.

After a pause, the old man continued, "However, it's possible to manipulate Her Majesty's consciousness, making her believe what she sees is real, by entering her dream."

Austin, unfamiliar with this technique despite prior exposure, blinked skeptically. "Are you sure? What if she wakes up halfway and pretends to be hypnotized, like Mike did?"

Dominic patiently explained, "As I said, we're manipulating her senses, not her mind. As long as we don't attempt to control her, the chances of her waking up are low."

Rhea's experiment failed because she over-relied on the drug, believing it could control a person's mind with hypnosis. She failed to manipulate Mike because his obsession with saving his son allowed him to recognize and resist her actions. Dominic's idea was different: to conduct the R10 experiment within the queen's dream using standard hypnosis.
