Chapter 2351
"I... don't quite understand," Yasmin said hesitantly. Dominic cleared his throat and said thoughtfully, "Simply put, you're doing okay for someone your age, but your health could be better."
"Better how?" Yasmin asked eagerly. She desperately wanted to slow down her aging, but it felt impossible to defy nature.
Dominic's expression turned serious. "Your pulse indicates you're overworked and overstressed. Do you frequently feel sleep-deprived or find it difficult to wake up? Do you feel lethargic after waking?"
Yasmin was astonished by his accuracy. Even her doctors, relying on thorough medical checkups, hadn't offered such precise insights. They merely advised a light diet and early bedtime to increase sleep duration. They didn't know about her lifelong struggle with insomnia, a source of immense suffering. She couldn't confide in anyone; too many wanted her dead to claim her throne, and revealing this weakness would only invite further schemes. Therefore, Dominic's revelation was both shocking and surprisingly welcome. She asked earnestly, "Do you think my illness is treatable?"
"You're not ill," Dominic said, waving a dismissive hand. "You don't need treatment."
"I..." Casting a wary glance around, Yasmin continued, "But you're right about my symptoms. I always feel restless. Isn't that an illness?"
"No," Dominic stated confidently. "It's common for someone your age, and only one thing causes these symptoms."
"What is it?" Yasmin asked quickly. Dominic looked at her intently. "If you must call it an illness, it's psychological."
"Psychological?"
"That's right." He nodded, sighing. "I can't cure your condition. Only you can."
Yasmin shook her head and sat up straighter. "I don't understand."
"No, no, you do understand. You understand everything; it's entirely up to you whether to heal yourself."
