Rhea excitedly walked away, phone in hand, eager to test the formula. Someone called after her, "Ma'am..."
She looked back to see Mike. "Throw him out!" she commanded. With the formula in her possession, he served no further purpose; keeping him in the embassy only caused trouble.
"Aren't you afraid I'll call the police?!" Mike growled.
Rhea laughed. "Call the police? And tell them what? That I stole the formula for an invisibility potion, or that I'm not helping you rescue your son? I'm a Yudonian now, under their protection. The police can't touch me." She turned and left smugly.
Now that I'm under Queen Yasmin's protection, why fear the police? All I need to do is please Her Majesty. And with the invisibility potion, I can go anywhere I please. Who will stop me? Immortality is irrelevant; seizing the moment is all that matters! she mused.
The guards soon ejected Mike. Furious, he tried to re-enter, but they prevented him, chasing him away amidst his curses.
Meanwhile, Queen Yasmin, on the balcony with binoculars, set them down without comment. A man stood silently beside her. "What do you think he was here for?" she asked, her gaze drifting into the distance, though Mike was gone.
The man shook his head. "I have no idea."
"He's here for his son," Yasmin declared, her eyes narrowing. A guard had informed her about Mike, even though she'd never seen him before. She'd also witnessed his argument with Rhea and the subsequent expulsion.
"Oh," the man replied, showing little interest.
"He wants to rescue his son, but I can't allow it," Yasmin said sadly. "I need the boy for something important."
"Then Your Majesty should not let him go."
Yasmin glanced at the man and shook her head. "But his son might die."
"It would be an honor to be a sacrifice for you, Your Majesty."
"Is that all you'll say?" Yasmin stared, irritated. "You're not a robot, you know."
"I'm sorry to upset you, Your Majesty, but my duty is to protect you and serve your interests," the man replied respectfully.
Yasmin sighed and waved a hand dismissively. "Forget it. I need someone like you around me. Fred always knew how to cheer me up, but to what end? His ambition exceeded his abilities!"
She'd long suspected Fred's machinations, but had allowed them until now. She bore responsibility for what had befallen him, though his greed had ultimately ensnared him in her trap.
