Alexander returned home to find Mike staring dazedly at his phone in the living room. He tossed his jacket aside and asked, "What's wrong?"

"Something's wrong," Mike replied, puzzled.

"What are you talking about?"

"It's Rhea." Mike looked up at Alexander.

"Rhea?" Alexander frowned, glancing at the phone. "What's wrong with her? What did she say?"

Mike shook his head. "Nothing. She didn't answer her phone."

"That's why you think something's wrong?" Alexander was perplexed.

"I've called so many times, but she hasn't answered or sent any messages. Most importantly, I told her I'd be giving her the invisibility potion formula in two days. She's eager to get it, so this is unlike her."

"Could it be..." Alexander pondered, "...that she realized she failed to hypnotize you?"

Mike shook his head. "That's impossible. If she suspected anything, she'd call or even come see me, not ignore me. Besides, she's overly confident and believes her hypnosis and drug worked."

Mike added with conviction, "Something must have happened to her."

"What could happen to her? Isn't she at the embassy? Besides, Fred seems to think highly of her," Alexander doubted.

"That's exactly why it's unusual," Mike said, rubbing his chin and staring at his phone.

Just then, Alexander's phone rang. He glanced at Mike, answered, and listened intently. "Oh, yeah? I got it." He hung up and said seriously to Mike, "You might be right."

Seeing Mike's puzzled expression, Alexander explained, "I received information that the Yudonian embassy has canceled all foreign affairs meetings and postponed several conferences, citing internal restructuring."

"Internal restructuring?" Mike was bewildered. "Restructuring of what?"
