Rhea noticed Fred's eagerness and asked, "What if it fails?" Based on past data, she had little confidence in his experiment's success. However, she dared not voice her doubts; Fred wouldn't want to hear them. Still, she selfishly hoped for failure. It would please Fred if it worked, but it wouldn't benefit her. If it failed, he'd need her help to begin again.

"Work hard, okay? I'll ensure you're well-rewarded." Patting Rhea's shoulder, he added, "Keep a close watch on Prince Ross and Mike Corden." After a pause, he asked, "Has Mike tried to find his son again?"

"Yes, he even discovered his son is in the Royal Palace of Yudonia, but he's powerless to act," Rhea answered truthfully.

"He wouldn't dare!" Fred snorted. "Since he's under your control, tell him his son is dead. That'll make him give up."

Rhea was stunned.

"Why? Is there a problem?" Fred narrowed his eyes, his tone threatening.

Rhea quickly shook her head, murmuring, "No, Your Grace. I fear he might do something drastic if we tell him that."

"So what? I'm not afraid of him," Fred said indifferently. "He's useless to me now. Spades King wanted to exploit his money and property, but Mike's become more of a threat. It's best if he kills himself."

"I understand, Your Grace." Rhea wondered why Fred suddenly wanted her to tell Mike his son had died. Was it simply to make Mike give up? She knew Mike would be distraught, and his obedience was uncertain. Therefore, she decided to postpone telling Mike.

It was nearly midnight when Rhea called Mike. She waited until late to avoid attracting Alexander and Austin's attention. Mike's phone rang for a long time before he answered groggily.

"Mike Corden..." Rhea called, her voice deep and hypnotic.

Mike mumbled, "Yes."

Rhea paused, then said, "Do you know who I am?"

"My master," Mike answered.

Rhea smiled, pleased her drug was still effective. She asked, "Has anything interesting happened over the past two days?"
