To his surprise, Dominic continued fanning the flames with the bellows. After a moment, he said, "Everyone has their destiny. Those fated to die will not live, and those fated to live will not die. We cannot defy nature without suffering the consequences."
He looked meaningfully at Fred, who frowned. Fred sensed mockery, a feeling that Dominic knew something he didn't.
"I came here to ask for your help because I'm concerned about Lily's health. Don't push me," Fred threatened.
Dominic hit Fred's hand with the bellows. "And what if I do?"
"Hey!" Alarmed, Fred stepped back, glaring and holding his injured hand. "Lily's heart rate is critically low; she might die at any moment. If you don't come with me, her chances of survival are slim. I know you don't save people anymore, but Lily's your favorite student, right?"
"As I said, everyone has their destiny. Lilyโ"
Fred suddenly produced a gun, pointing it at Dominic. "I told you not to push me. I don't wish to make a scene, but I won't tolerate interference with my plan! Why are you so stubborn? Lily's your student. If you didn't care, you wouldn't have helped her with her child and done everything else you did for her."
Dominic was surprised by Fred's knowledge. Servants hurried over, but the old man waved them away. "Fine, I'll go with you, but I won't promise I can save her."
Fred chuckled, unconvinced. "We all know how amazing your skills are. Besides, I'm sure you'll do your best for your beloved student." He gestured with the gun. "Let's go. We shouldn't waste any more time."
And so, after many years, Dominic left the estate and entered his car. The two vehicles departed.
As darkness fell, a car navigated a narrow alley, making several turns before entering the gates of Alex's house. The gates closed behind it as it proceeded to the parking lot.
The moment the car stopped, Alexander, Edward, and Mike approached. No one else was present. Ross emerged from the car.
