That evening, Alexander arrived at the entrance of a discreet private club. After a rigorous security check, he proceeded to the innermost VIP room. Arriving early, he made some preparations. Just as he was finishing, Cameron brought in a foreigner. The usually stern-faced man smiled courteously as he led the guest inside. Seeing them, Alexander approached quickly.

"Ross, this is Mr. Alexander Russell," Cameron introduced, smiling. "He's a prominent Kingsland businessman with extensive holdings and businesses in Yudonia."

Alexander said, "It's an honor to meet you, Your Highness. Please, call me Alex."

"Nice to meet you, Alex," Ross replied amiably, nodding. "I've heard a great deal about you. You're quite adept at making money in my country, aren't you?"

Cameron chuckled. Alexander replied, "While I do profit from business in Yudonia, you also benefit from the affordable goods I provide. Besides, numerous Yudonian businesses operate in Hyderland; the trade between our countries is mutually beneficial." Ross scrutinized him intently.

Cameron considered interjecting, but the prince suddenly burst into laughter. "Well said, Alex! I was only teasing. I hope you don't mind."

Alexander laughed. "I was teasing you too. I didn't expect you to be so down-to-earth, Your Highness. I feel as if I've known you for years."

"Please, call me Ross. This isn't a formal occasion, is it?" he said casually.

Surprised, Alexander glanced at Cameron, who nodded. "As you wish, thenโ€ฆ Ross."

The prince laughed.

"Take a seat. You must be tired after your engagements. It's time to relax," Cameron offered, gesturing towards some seating.

Alexander nodded. "Yes, let's have a drink."

Before he could open a bottle of wine, however, one of Ross's men examined the drinks and inspected the room. After confirming everything was secure, the bodyguard nodded to the prince and left. The precautions seemed excessive, given the guards at the door and the prince's security.

"It's not a lack of trust," Ross explained, "but standard protocol."

Alexander nodded repeatedly. "I understand."

After pleasantries, the direct Ross said, "Ron has told me about Fred, but I need to investigate further."

Cameron nodded. "You should. We only hope you can expedite matters. Otherwiseโ€ฆ"
