"Your father knows what he's doing. Let's just follow his instructions," Alexander said.
Anastasia frowned, slightly puzzled. "Oh. Well, at least I've delivered the message. Oh, I heard the twins have returned! Can I see them?" Her eyes gleamed with excitement. "I've never seen fraternal twins before!"
"They're upstairs, but I don't know if they're awake. Go take a look," Alexander nodded.
Anastasia ran upstairs. She found the third bedroom on the left of the stairwell; the door was open, and the two babies were crying. Austin and Mike were in the room; the nanny had likely gone to prepare their formula.
Anastasia saw Mike holding one baby. The adorable child stopped crying and looked at her with curious, teary eyes. However, the baby in Austin's arms cried inconsolably, and he seemed flustered.
"Please don't cry," Austin tried to coax the baby. "I'll have to give you a shot if you keep crying! You're not sick, so why are you crying? Are you hungry? The formula will be ready soon. Just wait a while, okay?"
The baby, of course, couldn't understand and continued crying.
"Oh, come on! If you don't stop, I'll start crying too!" Austin grimaced helplessly.
Anastasia chuckled. Austin looked up, surprised to see her. "You're here!"
"Oh, my God, what the hell are you doing?" Anastasia, seeing Austin so flustered for the first time, couldn't stop laughing.
Embarrassed, Austin said, "Do you think it's easy? Try it yourself!"
"Let me show you," Anastasia offered, taking the baby from him. "You shouldn't hold her like that."
"Hey, do you know what you're doing? Be careful not to drop her!" he said hastily, holding out his hands.
Anastasia carefully cradled the baby and gently patted her. Mike said, "Be gentle, okay? Their heads are too fragile to swing around."
"I know; I've seen it on TV," Anastasia replied, continuing to gently pat the baby. Though she'd never cared for a baby before, she knew the basics.
"TV? Are you sure you can handle her?" Austin doubted a young girl could do better than a physician like himself. However, to his astonishment, the baby stopped crying after only two minutes, now only letting out intermittent sobs. Anastasia said, "See? She stopped crying."
Austin was in disbelief.
