Chapter 214
"It's not him," Lily said, shaking her head. She sighed.
"What the hell?" she muttered. "It was all a misunderstanding." Recalling that she had just compared Olivia's description of Edwin to Alexander, Lily felt silly.
Although the photo was blurry, Lily could tell Alexander was in the car with Edward because he responded quickly, and the photo looked recently taken.
Before Lily could figure out his location, she received another text from Alexander: "Do you want more?"
Lily knew he meant more photos of Edward, so she quickly replied, "No need, that's enough."
Why would she need so many photos of Edward? She only wanted to show one to Olivia to clear up the confusion. Then more texts arrived:
"Are you sure you don't need them?" "Don't you want my photo?"
"Pfft Cough" Seeing the last text, Lily spat out a mouthful of water, choking and coughing. Even though it was just text on a cold phone screen, she sensed Alexander's unhappiness. Was he complaining that she hadn't asked for his photo?
"Are you alright? Why did you choke on your water?" Olivia patted her back, curious. "Who are you chatting with? By the way, who was that man, if not your boyfriend? Why did he come here just to give you something so late at night? And why do you have his photo?"
The more Olivia thought about it, the more suspicious she became. Something seemed amiss, but she couldn't pinpoint what it was.
Lily coughed and waved her hands. She needed to appease Alexander first. She picked up her phone and quickly replied, "It's enough for me to have you. Why would I need your photos?" Alexander, sitting in the car, looked at the text on his phone, a smile finally playing on his lips.
In the driver's seat, Edward watched his boss in the rearview mirror with horror. He'd looked severe for a while, and now he was smiling. What was going on?
"I'll take photos of you when I return, okay?" Lily added, hoping this would satisfy him.
Alexander was finally satisfied. "Okay!"
Seeing that response, Lily breathed a sigh of relief. She felt something behind her, and when she turned around, she saw a large head and jumped in shock.
"Tsk" Olivia smacked her lips, making a face. "I didn't expect you to be so cheesy. Oh my, I've had enough!"
Lily stood up and patted Olivia's head casually. "Okay! Hurry and get back to work when you're done eating! Clean up here, and I'll check if the results are in."
Chapter 1 (This seems out of place. Is this a continuation or a new chapter?)
"Okay, I'll clean up! Let's finish our work quickly. Then you can go home and take photos with some peace of mind!" Olivia teased. "By the way, why did you show me that guy's photo? You should show me your boyfriend's photo instead!"
"It seems like I haven't given you enough workload!" Lily retorted, hand on the door frame.
"I've been working overtime with you all night, so I think this is my reward!"
While cleaning up the trash, Olivia remembered the chat window on Lily's phone screen and couldn't help but ask, "By the way, who is Alexander Hall? Why does the name sound so familiar?" Lily was stunned.
Chapter 15 (This also seems out of place)

The chapter numbers at the end seem misplaced and need to be integrated properly with the narrative flow or removed entirely. The story jumps between seemingly unrelated segments ("Chapter 1" and "Chapter 15"). The text needs to be restructured to create a coherent narrative.
