When the doctor visited Maria, Fabian decided he should visit Cameron.
"If Tasia worries about leaks, we can simply find a discreet doctor, can't we? She keeps saying Cameron was poisoned, but she doesn't know what kind of poison or how it happened," he mused.
"The more I think about it, the stranger it seems. I've decided to see for myself what this little wench is up to," he declared.
"Uncle Fabian, my father will get well soon. Please be patient," Anastasia pleaded, softening her tone and gently trying to guide him away.
"Really? How are you so sure? Did the doctor say that?" Fabian remained suspicious, craning his neck to peer into the bedroom.
"Yes, the doctor did," Anastasia nodded, again trying to lead him away. "I know you're stressed; many people are trying to find out what happened to my father, and you're dealing with them all."
She paused. "When my father wakes up, I'll tell him how much you've suffered during this time."
Fabian felt his anxiety ease slightly, but he still glanced back as he left. Spotting someone, he abruptly turned back. Anastasia was too slow to stop him; he had already re-entered the room.
"Why the hell is he here?" Fabian demanded, angrily pointing at Alexander. Suspicion and resentment flared. He stalked towards Alexander, glaring. Then, turning to Tasia, he barked, "Tasia, why the hell is he here?"
Tasia hesitated, unsure how to respond. Uncle Fabian wouldn't believe Alex is here with medicine, she thought.
"You won't let your uncle in, but an outsider can stand here!" Fabian exploded, ignoring her. "I thought you were doing this for your father and family. You..." He pointed at her nose. "Anastasia, you ungrateful brat! I raised you, and you betray me!"
"Uncle Fabian, Mr. Russell came to deliver medicine. My father will wake up soon!" she finally explained.
"Medicine? What kind of medicine? Is he a miracle doctor?" Fabian scoffed. "Who are you trying to fool? Has someone tricked you? How could you trust anyone?"
He strode towards the bed. "I'm not listening anymore. I'm sending your father to the hospital!"
"Uncle Fabian!" Anastasia rushed between him and Cameron. "You can't do that!"
Her gaze was firm despite her agitation, but Fabian was unmoved. "Don't force me to get rough! Step aside!"
He pushed her, but she held her ground. Fabian's rage intensified.
