"Since you brought it up, let's discuss this," Cameron said sternly, straightening his back. "I trust neither of you are directly involved, though Maria, you sent those harmful herbs. Still, I believe you were unaware of their true nature."

Her name sent a chill down her spine. "What harmful plants?" she asked.

"Before this, you frequently sent Tasia many herbs; they overwhelmed the place." Cameron gestured to indicate the quantity.

Maria admitted this, bewildered. "How does that relate to Anastasia's poisoning? Are you saying... those herbs poisoned her? The miracle doctor didn't mention that!"

"Precisely those herbs," Anastasia confirmed. "The miracle doctor never mentioned it, but that doesn't mean others were unaware. Furthermore, I didn't improve because of his prescriptions; I didn't even take them—they were useless!"

The events overwhelmed Maria. Dazed, she felt disoriented, struggling to comprehend Anastasia's words.

"You... how did you recover without the miracle doctor's medicine? He knew you were poisoned. Even if you don't want to owe me a favor, you don't have to fabricate this!" Maria felt wronged, her expression grim. She'd been preoccupied with this for so long; the futility of it all stung.

"The miracle doctor is competent, but not the best," Anastasia said lightly. "His prescriptions were useless, so I didn't take them. However, he correctly diagnosed poisoning, not merely obesity. I recovered with the help of an expert. Aunt Maria, don't worry. My chronic poisoning stemmed from those herbs Rhea asked you to send. I believe you were unaware; Rhea is responsible." Anastasia’s gaze fixed on Rhea, like a judge in court.

Rhea chuckled. "How absurd! Herbal plants causing chronic poisoning? I studied modern medicine; I know little about herbal remedies! Do you think I'd use such a complicated method? Why poison you? Why are the maids fine? Why is Uncle Cameron fine? Why only you? Perhaps you gained weight due to your body type. Your poisoning claim is ridiculous! Blaming me is ludicrous! You're fabricating this!" Rhea shook her head, smiling, as if wrongly accused.

Anastasia started to speak again, but Cameron stopped her. "Rhea! Maintain that attitude, and I'll handle this appropriately—I'll call the police!"
