Austin was profoundly shocked. Leaving the lab, he immediately went to Dominic's house. Regardless of Dominic's mood, Austin was determined to speak with him and uncover the truth. He suspected a close relationship between Dominic and Lily; otherwise, Dominic wouldn't have allowed her to stay so long. Dominic likely knew things about Lily and what had happened that day.

Austin dismissed the idea of acupuncture-induced paralysis, leaving temporary poisoning as the only explanation. "Is there a poison that temporarily incapacitates someone, allowing for later recovery?" Lost in thought, he nearly collided with another car. He sped to Dominic's suburban villa, leaping from his car and rushing inside.

Ignoring Dominic's house rules, Austin attempted to force his way in, but the maids intervened.

"Mr. Austin, you must follow the rules."

"I don't care about the rules! Granduncle can punish me later, but I must speak with him!"

"I'm sorry, Mr. Austin. You cannot enter."

"Get out of my way!"

Despite the maids' efforts to restrain him, Austin yelled, "Tell Granduncle it's urgent! It concerns Lily! He'll want to know!"

A maid entered the villa. Seeing this, Austin ceased struggling, allowing the maids to relax their grip. After a moment, the maid returned.

"Mr. Austin, Mr. Dominic says he's uninterested and wishes to be undisturbed. He asks that you leave and cease bothering him with others' affairs."

Austin was taken aback. Dominic still refused to see him. He'd anticipated this, but thought mentioning Lily would change Dominic's mind. Now, he questioned the nature of Dominic and Lily's relationship, further fueling his determination. Disappointment evident in his gaze, he softly said, "Okay. I understand."

He turned to leave, but then abruptly spun around and sprinted back towards the villa, skillfully evading those who tried to stop him, reaching Dominic's residence.

"Granduncle! I must speak with you! Please—"

He was tackled to the ground before reaching the door. Dominic's subordinate looked terrified.

"Mr. Dominic, I'm sorry. Mr. Austin—"
